Hiccup ran and ran until her sides hurt from the heavy breathing. It was a tough task not running into the trees but the filly had a natural grace to her stride that kept her steady. Twice she glanced back to see Rhapsody hot on her tail, which made her giddy with excitement and adrenaline. Hiccup couldn't let herself be caught of course so the risk of Rhapsody doing just that made her veer sharply to he right. They had been running close to the creek she was playing in earlier so hiccup ran for that, splashing through it and darting onto the other side. The filly nearly got a clean getaway if she hadnt spotted a strange colt amongst the trees. The surprise of an unfamiliar face caught her off guard and in a second she was tumbling head over hooves. Thankfully she didnt run into a tree until she had already lost momentum, but Hiccup did get a big banged up from rolling a few times. "Whoops," she coughed, spitting out leaves and debris. She wasnt hurt, just shaken up and a tad startled.

Following Hiccup was easier said than done, she was a fast little filly and I barely managed to hang on. She took many curves and twists and I was just about to take a huge leap forwards when she quickly took a right turn towards the creek, I shok my head in disbelief and followed her through the water, it sinked us down slightly but it was fun having the water splash around us. When she reached the surface I took the leap and landed steadly on the water edge, before racing after her again. But I was taken off guard when she suddenly tripped and rolled on the ground. Her tail managed to caught one of my legs and swung me down to the ground aswell. I shok my head and looked over at her, a grin on my face: ''Hmm, I don't really understand how rolling head over hooves on the ground can help you to get a clean get away''
But I raised one eyebrow when I saw her tad startled face and added: ''Hiccup, what happend? You are quite sturdy footed usually, and I have never seen you trip like that before on flat ground..'' My grin appeared again when I thought about how amusing it was that Hiccup had actually tripped on flat ground, she had no really good excuse unless she saw a ghost which was highly unlogical as it was at the middle of the day, and everyone knew that ghosts only appeared at night.

Gale jumped when Hiccup when spinning head over heels,"are you ok!?" he asked bolting over towards the little filly,"i'm sorry did i scare you?" he asked genuinely concerned for her, he would hate for the sweet little spirit to be injured, he pranced on the spot nervously, thinking, i hope i din't hurt her, i really really hop i didn't he looked over at Rhapsody and said," i'm really sorry if i scared you guys, i was just walking through, and didn't notice you until she wen't spinning" the lie slipped of his lips easily and he felt guilty for it, but it would be shameful to be caught watching the two. Gale gave an apologetic smile with eyes that also said i'm sorry, he shook his head and sat on his haunches.

"Well i didn't plan that into my escape," Hiccup giggled when Rhapsody spoke up, having tumbled down after her. Obviously didn't take long to recover, tough little one she was. The sight of another foal was really interesting but Hiccup lost sight of him when she fell. So while she was paying attention to Rhapsody her eyes were elsewhere, darting around to catch him again. "I saw something," She replied to the colt currently on the ground with her. Should she just admit it was another Equid or make herself sound tough and cool? Obviously cool. "A big monster," she finished, a wicked grin on her face.

Before another moment the foal in question showed up, apologizing feverishly to the both of them. "Ok maybe not a monster," the filly giggled, looking at rhapsody. "And yes I'm fine, it's ok," she added, glancing up at the colt. "You just caught me by surprise and I wasn't paying attention." Hiccups cheeks flushed again, more so this time that he was so concerned when she just got a few bumps and bruises. There was no need for it.

Hiccup was a real random equid, that was anyones cure to change their mood in one second. And I was no exception, a smile formed on my head and I shok my face once again, but I widend my eyes when she mentioned a big monster: ''No way?!'' I asked, feeling excited, scared and ready to meet a monster!
But I was a tad dissapointed when I saw the other equid, no monster after all...

I stood up and shok out my coat and gave a suspicious glance at the other colt. I had seen him somewhere, but I couldn't remember where or when..

Gale sighed with realife,"that's good," he smiled at Hiccup giggle, saying he was monster, what a silly thought he looked at rhapsody and saw the colt looking at him suspiciously, he didn't know what he had done to earn the glare, but he brushed it off with a polite smile,"by the way, the names Gale" he said, dipping his head before he could stop himself, boy his mother had courpted him," so" he said putting on a grin,"what was that about a monster? i'v always wondered what they looked like," the two of them seemed to like to chat, so if he kept a friendly conversation going it may be good to get to know them.

The name didn't ring any bell and I asked: ''Do I know you from somewhere?'' I didn't really understand why I was a bit ticked off by this so called Gale. Maybe it was because he had suddenly appeared? And was now chatting like he and Hiccup where old friends since forever?
But somehow I could sense something fishy about him, there was something that wasen't right about this colt. I had no proof of course so blindly blaming him wasen't gonna help me at all. I slight swish off my tail helped me not to start to accusing him off nothing, and to give me something else to think about. I shot a glance towards Hiccup, what was her thoughts about this new colt?

Hiccup didnt share the same apprehension about Gale as Rhapsody did, but that was just Hiccup for you. "I'm hiccup," she gave her name after receiving his. The filly was about to perk up and explain her monster theory but quieted down when Rhapsody started talking. Afterwards Hiccup shuffled to her feet and sported a big grin. "Monsters are big. Bigger than the trees! And they roar really loud," she started, taking a lower tone to her voice and sounding as menacing as allowed for a filly. She even roared, or tried to. "And they crawl around on their bellies waiting to snatch up little Equids!" Hiccup finished her little story, thrashing her tail and jumping right in the faces of both Gale and Rhapsody.
