Jay nodded with a wistful sigh.

Bearkit sensed she was going to be noticed and scurried to the other kits and began playing with them.

"Different things, Darkmouth." Scarlett went to Slash. "Who're you callin' old and crazy?" She flicked her tail. "At least I know a fox from a kit, mutt-brain."

Stormkit crouched behind Bearkit. "Gotcha!" he yowled, pouncing on her. Nightkit laughed, her icy blue eyes showing no emotion. Amberkit nipped Stormkit's tail and then fled as he bounded after her, trying to get revenge for the attack on his lovely, soft tail.
Featherfoot rolled her eyes at the kits' antics & stretched out next to Venomfang, nervous about the impending war.
