Axel's ears flicked at her response, more than surprised to hear her not calling him a liar. She believed him? He hadn't made as horrible a mess of his lie as he thought? Though he'd begun to wonder if he needed to lie to this cat. Would she pity him, if she knew how young he was? Her voice had lost most of it's menace now, but she didn't seem like a very compassionate cat, certainly no queen doting over her kits. But then if he told her, she'd tell others, and some of those others would pity him. And he definitely didn't know her well enough to trust her with a secret.
"Camp?" He echoed her last word just as his stomach growled, as if in response to the previous question. He was admittedly a little past hungry, but he wasn't starving, not skin and bones or anything. He'd managed to keep himself alive for a couple weeks so far. "And, um.." The young loner felt suddenly warm under his pelt, looking pointedly away to hide his face from the she-cat. "Yes, I'm hungry."

Mintfur pricked his ears and smiled at the apprentice. He licked Hawkpaw's ear in greeting. "Still no metnor I see?" Mintfur said. He didn't see Bonestar in the camp, he was probable out with his apprentice. "Come on, you can catch me a mouse. And I'll show you something." He said standing and walking for the camp entrance. Mintfur walked with Hawkpaw by his side. Mintfur went away from the Training Grounds, but not to the Lone Tree. But to the Flower Place. "Now Hawkpaw, what do you sense?" He whispered. Mintfur could smell some mice. But he would see if the apprentice could.

I..w-well..I didn't have a very gentle life there, in the..the Twoleg-place." A vague flickering of pain crossed her eyes, but she pushed it away. "I got chased, bullied, I fought and was beaten, I..." she sighed again, glancing off into the trees, looking at nothing. Her claws slid out for a moment as she paused, then back in. "..well, yeah..I had a rough time of it.."

"The two toms shall be Tigerkit and Bearkit," if she remembered correctly, Swiftwind's parents had bore the same prefixes, "the creamy white she-kit shall be Aurakit." The queen had always seen it as a pretty name. But what to name her other daughter? "The last she-kit shall be Petalkit."

Bonestar sighed inwardly and took a glance out of camp, "Lets try around Lone Tree, no one has been there for a while as far as I know." Twitching his tail he looked to each cats face for their reaction. He specifically choose the farthest place from Dewclan territory because of Whirlpaw. There was no place for chasing down lost family members during a hunting patrol, if she wanted to do that she would have to do it on her own time when she was a warrior."We should be able to find some mice and voles at least," Bonestar added, his golden eyes glinting slightly. Not to mention it would be good practice in learning to navigate and find prey in unusual weather. Lone Tree was almost always covered in mist, so it gave cats a taste of what MistClan territory was like constantly.

The tiny bundle of fur snuggled into her mothers form, still unaware of everything the world was and was safely shielded by the blackness of the backs of her eye lids and the unhearing of her closed ears. She bright pink nose snuffled searching for something unknown to her, she wasn't sure what she was searching for, but she knew she had to find it. Bumping into one of her siblings she let out a pitiful mewl, voicing her displeasure of the faint breeze and fuzzy thing she had found. Another faint mewl escaped her jaws as she began to move away from her mother in search of that thing. Rather than finding her mother, she found the stems of the abundant flowers surrounding her mother.

Sage frost spotted Petalkit crawling away and leaned over, stretching out her exhausted body and closing her teeth around the scruff of her daughter's neck carefully. She didn't want to hurt her. As she moved, she jolted Tigerkit away from her stomach and pushed him back with her hind paws, purring softly.
