Aiier smiled and licked him back, then playfully tugged on his ear and jumped away.. " Thank you" she said with a loving smile.

"Anytime. Should we eat? I'm getting kinda hungry. What about you?" He asked Aiier. He wasn't really that hungry at all. But he loved the wolf and was waiting to ask her a very important question.

Jinx opened hiseys to a bright moon light. He wasn't tired or drosey when he woke, he was just awake. he couldn't really remember what happened, all he remembered was an overpowering urge to protect Rin adn Star. He sighed and looked around he didn't see much. Slowly he heaved himself to his feet. His left rear paw surjed in pain as he tried to put weight on it. He wined in pain, a high pitched tone, almost a gasp. Jinx looked back at his paw and saw that it was bloodied and swolen. He grumbled to himself and laid back down and curled to lick his paw to clean for any potential infections.

Star woke up to a loud cry of pain that echoed through the cave and hurt her ears. She woke up to see Jinx, his paw was all hurt and bloody. She was quickly by his side licking the wound. "I'm so sorry" She talked between licks. "This is all my fault." "Though I'm not gonna get to dramatic with this." She said getting up and finding a loose vine in the cracks of the cave. She walked back to his side and wrapped his paw seval times till it was wrapped and the vine was like a cast. "There"

"It's not your fault." Jinx said pulled his head up from his wound and let Star lick it. Once she finnished with the vine he leaned over and pulled it off with his teeth. "Thanks, but no. I heal faster without it." He curled up and tucked his paw up by his stomach. He lowered his head down onto his paws and starred out of the cave. After a minute, Jinx turned his head to look at Star, his eyes roaming her beautiful face.

Aiier smiled, " sure" she said, though she wasent starving either, she nudged him and walked to the fresh kill pile.

"I wished I felt the same" Star replied to him watching him rip the vine off. "True. Ok, you may have it your way. It's your paw after all" She finished noticing Jinx looking at her. She watched him, looking him in the eyes. She had a crush on him, but she wouldn't let it control her life. He was wolf that made his own choices. But she loved him anyway.

Carlyle jumped off the rock and walked by her side until he reached the kill pile. He took the deer in his teeth and ripped its side open. "Ladies first" He said with a smile.
