Hello again! Yeah,I joined the old thread too, but the name list has not been updated in a while. If you liked Scorpio races, have you read shiver, linger and forever by the same author?
No, I've been meaning to but I haven't been by a book store in a while which is killing me but my mom surprised me with the seventh book by Derek Landy in the Skulduggery Pleasant series which made me extremely happy and even better, he's working on number 8!

By the way, got three new books from the library today. Ender's Game, The Hunt, and Matched. Anyone read them, and are they good? And which should I read first?

It goes shiver, Linger, then forever, I wish it wasn't just a trilogy though! I miss them

I need to read it again soon...The last book is VERY sad! I cried! I was sitting in school reading it too! xD I like how she writes too...but then it's like really? Kill of my favorite character? But it's a good trilogy, I reccomend reading it, along with Matched if you've got the time ^^ ooh, another good book is between by Jessica Warman *shoves books through computer screen*

I loved "And Then There Were None", but of course, I watched the movie first and so I knew who it was.But in the movie, 2 people survived. It was pretty different, but not different enough to not ruin the book!

I've been told
every word about it,and i
know it's a good book, and I'm dying to read it. Yeah I love it although I haven't read it XD Maybe you could tell me something about it please? c:
I'm reading The Cosmic Trilogy for the second time now. While reading it you get constantly reminded of Narnia, yet it isn't the same at all. The theme of the story is about the continous struggle between bad and evil. I don't want to tell you much of the story! Basically, the hero ,the philologist Dr.Elwin Ransom, is sent to other planets of the solar system to keep them from bad coming there
too (Yeah, our planet is the 'bent' one). Although the third book is set on Earth. I will tell no more, but thanks for the interest! n.n
The Cosmic Trilogy sounds really good, I'll have to read it.
The Screwtape Letters is really neat. I'll try not to give too much away, but basically its a series of letters between two demons. The older demon, Screwtape, is instructing his younger relative on how to lead a human away from God and basically bring his soul to hell. It's a very interesting concept, and the book is good because of the theology but also just because its really fun to read. I hope you like it when you read it!
@jabberwocky-I was looking at What We Saw at Night at the bookstore recently, and I've been thinking about reading it. The concept looked really neat, but I wasn't sure what kind of direction it would go either.

Ah, talking of Enders game, that's the book I'm reading now! So far it's really good, but I'm only on chapter 2, so I can't say how it's going to turn out!
