She smiled and licked him "Firearrow has a white star on his chest" she looked down at the pup.

Orion tossed his head side to side "well I geuss he does get that from me..." he smiled and nuzzled her.

She smiled up at him as the pups curled up and began to sleep.

orion "well I will go lay out side the den, like I am suppose too..." he sighed.

She smiled at him "See ya in the morning" she touched her nose to his. Then began lightly grooming her pups. Apparently something stirred in her to break out the most of maternal instincts she possessed, which wasn't much.

Orion nuzzled her before he walked away "I will be right there if you need me." He layed down in the den entrance and sighed closing his eyes, he could not wait until the pups were older and he could be a real father to them, until then they were under shadow's highly protective care.

Shadowfire opened her eyes, the pups still asleep. She got up tentatively and walked out, Orion's sleeping form in front of the den "Orion" she whispered, nudging him.

Orion breathed in deeply and lifted his head up, he looked at Shadow "yes darlin? What to you need?" He looked at her with half open eyes still dreary from sleep.
