She was running at top speed and was just barley ahead of the other two, but unlike them she didn't slow down in time and wound up face first in the water. "oops.." he said as he sat in the water with her tail flipped over her head.

Amaya headed into a shallower part of the water and she flopped down to let the cool water soothe the soreness out of her legs. "Man, Cold water feels so nice on sore legs. To bad River water isn't as nice at Mountain water."

He stood on the bank and stared at the two females, swaying his tail before dipping his head to the water taking a few deep sips. When he lifted his head, the cool water dripped down his muzzle and he winked at them, "Well, it's just as good as mountain water." He said before wading in and nipped at Amaya before stretching his head out and taking Danny's tail in his teeth and pulling it off of her head and let it go gently into the water, "You two are something else, I must say." He said before moving toward the deeper part of the river slowly, his tail trailing out behind him.

Amaya stood and walked deeper into the water. "Its Nice to Be out of the mountains. its so cold up there." Amaya said, shivering at the thought.

Shaman
I hear faint voices and look up to see more Equids on the other side of the lake. They look to be foals by their size. I give a whinny of greeting to the group and perk my ears as I watch them.

Strutting Prince
I snap back to reality and begin to graze. I find a sweet smelling patch of grass and roll to my hearts content.

Heaven's Freedom
I sigh as I look to the sky and envy the eagles soaring there so free. Sometimes, I wish I had wings so I could fly. So carefree and unworried.

Lucia
I sneak up on my daughter and splash her then trot into the shallows enticing a game of catch. I laugh as she splashes me back.


Nizhoni
"Hey!" I neigh as all of a sudden I'm soaking wet. My momma just splashed me! She splashed ME! I must splash her back! I have to! I laugh as I chase my mother around in the shallows of the lake, determined to get her soaking wet.

She smiles at the colt "Thank you" he said then stands and shakes the water out of her mane. Her ear twitches and her head perks up when she hears a whinny. She looks in the direction it came from and whinnies back.

With a small chuckle he turned his head toward Amaya, "True, mountain water is cold and quite refreshing but I've found that the further down you get," He said with a bright smile, "The more time you can spend in the water." He said before winking playfully, "I don't blame you one bit." He said with a chuckle before perking up his ears, snapping his head in the direction of the whinny of an older male. He bristled slightly before turning back toward the shore, shaking out his dark bay fur before looking back toward the male, pricking his ears. He reluctantly whinnied a greeting, glancing to the two females that were currently under his protection, would the male try to take them? Would he attack? He wasn't sure, but he figured he could give him the benefit of a doubt.

Amaya looked at Declan, with a sly smile she reared and splashed her hooves into the water, sending a splash towards the colt

He let out a surprised whinny before staring at Amaya, narrowing his eyes playfully. He then hunkered down and lept into the water, causing a small tidal wave to crash over her. He began to laugh, staring over at her before cutting his eyes up to the older stallion.

Shaman
I see a young paint foal who seems to be the leader answer my whinny. I round my herd up and slowly make my way to the other side...I really dislike getting my fur wet. Water meant mud an mud meant hours of trying to get my almost completely white pelt clean again.

Strutting Prince
I smile as I walk closer to Freedom. She was a pretty mare.


Heaven's Freedom
I snap my head up at a strange whinnie and spot the herd of young foals on the other side. Apparently Shaman is rounding us up...might a well help him.

Lucia
I also hear the return neigh and perk my ears. FOALS! Awe! So adorable! "Come on Nizhoni! Lets go meet the new foals!" I say as I herd her back to dry land ad Shaman.


Nizhoni
"Hey!" I smile at the thought of other foals my age and cowhop to the shore, splashing everyone at the last second. I smile at my daddy when I see his annoyed face. "Sorry Daddy, didn't mean to get you wet..." I say as I nuzzle him, gettin him even more wet. Hehehe.....
