((Okay thanks.)) Nick was out on the streets, the cold breeze biting at his cheeks. He walked step by step to the next street over. He saw a coffee shop, he walked inside with the warm air pounding, he sat down on a comfy chair and picked up a magazine. It was covered with gossip, he put it down and stood up. "Hey." he said to a girl who he hasn't seen in awhile.

Dane leapt up into the air, and grabbed the creatures tail. Using his dying strength, he pulled it to the ground with a small snarl. His ink black eyes flashed in the moonlight, his air rising in clouds around him. Frost was crusting the streets, making it slippery. He should get inside soon before it got any colder. He knew, that at midnight, it would become cold enough to kill someone. There was also problems during the middle of the day, where it became too hot to be outside. Luckily, this was only autumn, but it was going to get much, much colder and fast. The frost had melted under his paws as he pulled her down to the ground.

'No Axel, this one's mine' he said, his eyes still on the rogue. The rogue confused him slightly. For example, why had she left her side? And in the first place, who was she? He looked her up and down with his black eyes searching, trying the learn the answers, but failing slightly. He growled softly, his long sharp fangs being exposed as he swished his skeletal tail which made a faint 'Snap' sound as it whipped through the air.

Nick's feet went deep into the snow on the ground, he walked along the side of the road. He looked for a place to get warmth, but where he was, no places at all. Nick saw a little rundown train station, it was nearly burnt down but it could still work , so, he walked inside. Spiders crawling up his pant leg and webs getting in his face every step. He heard a few creaks from the floor. He got an old chair sitting in the corner and sat on it. He started to relax, it was warmer in here then out in the cold.

Raquel walked through the alleyways of the forgotten, destroyed city, icy, startling blue eyes searching the area for any other darks, and apprehensively so for any lights. She couldn't stand them, and would kill them on sight if she got the chance. She sighed and crossed her arms as she felt the light yet biting breeze, the one that signified the beginnings of the deadly weather that so many had died in. She crouched low to the ground and shifted into her creature form, the black fur and feathers blending in with the darkness of the city as she took to the air, her keen eyes searching for any compatible shelter for a creature her size. So far, no luck.

Tikaani shivered, his scales rippling and his feathers pricking as he slithered along on the opposite side of the city, not feeling the breeze Raquel had until five minutes later. He looked up at the cloud-gathered sky, his long, pale tongue flickering out and back in as he tasted the air. Yep; it was going to be one of the blistering cold nights that he'd grown to hate so much. Why was the world so messed up when he needed sanity? He sighed, the sound more like a strangled hiss in this form. He flapped his large, brown-feathered wings a couple of times to keep his circulation strong while he slithered slightly faster, his eyes searching urgently for shelter.

Mickey kept her head down, and walked on. After a few more minutes of walking, she felt that she could shift into her true form. In her place stood the white dragonish creature. With a beat of her huge wings, she rose into the air, and sped over the city. She grinned as she passed over the boundary, a feeling of safety overcoming her. She flew low, it was too cold higher up. She cirlced over the building she had slept in the day before. It was a dark muddy colour, but was otherwise intact. The glass from the windows glinted up at her, as she landed silently on the roof. She tucked in her wings, and looked back at the moon. It was nearly full. Her eyes moved towards the east side of the city, where she knew the port was. The full moon normally brought a large tide and it was best to stay away from that area for all creatures. Things had grown in the deep

Tikaani paused as a glint of white caught his eyes. He looked up sharply, snake head swiveling, his tongue flickering in and out rapidly. He saw a vague silhouette on top of a building a few blocks away. He hissed, flapping his wings as an attention grabber. The dark brown feathers glinted under the moon, creating a dark, silky beacon.
