Dasher
Dasher jogged when his legs got sore from carrying the other dog, and he kept speeding from the scene in the asphalt road. There were wailing sirens behind them, lights flashing red and blue, and the sounds were long gone behind them. He really didn't know where he was going, but he made sure he would be within two miles from the flashing lights. But the cries of the stray dogs banged against his ear drums and the words they said pained his heart.

(@ Eradiance, if you want to join you can, since the title says "Accepting", but you have to fill out the form provided on the first page and you have to wait for the owner of the RP to accept you before you can role play. ^u^)
Flix
Flix bounced along on the other dog's back. Now she could barely hear the barks, woofs and sirens. They were going into a part of the forest she'd never been in before. She hoped that the other dog was taking her someplace where the humans couldn't get at her.

Dasher
Dasher stopped in his tracks, his paws digging into the dark earth at his paws, and shifted his weight with the other dog on his back. He knew the humans were far behind them, and when he scented the air, the stench of human was stale in his nostrils. He looked over his shoulder and back at the dog, "Can you walk?" Dasher asked. It was a stupid question, of course she couldn't walk, But he hadn't spoken to her just yet.

Flix
Flix blinked. "Er..." She wondered if the other dog was getting tired of her and wanted her to walk by herself. What if the other dog left her in the forest?
"Not really," she replied, trying her weight on her injured leg. She tried to hold it up as she hopped around on three legs. "Sorta." She stumbled and crashed to the ground.
"Ok, I guess not," she mumbled, spitting dirt out of her mouth. She would have laughed if her leg hadn't hurt so much.

Dasher
Dasher let out a gasp as she stumbled to the ground, softening her fall with his shoulder and clenched his teeth at her weight. (XD not that she's heavy...) "You know, I never caught your name." Dasher watched the way she coughed dirt onto the ground and regretted asking her to walk herself.

Dasher
Dasher froze. He hadn't really thought about that. He'd just wanted to get out of there so he and Flix could survive. He didn't really want to go to the pound again, let alone have it in his conscious if the fae was taken away. Dasher sighed, dipping his head and his ears fell onto his eyes. "I really don't know. I don't even know where we are." He lifted his head at the sound of a twig snapping in the distance and locked his gaze on the trees, his nose twitching with interest at the scents that flooded his nostrils.
