Eventually, Nicolette sat down beside Remy, still scrawling words on the paper, flicking over pages and sketching small images in the borders. After a little longer, she'd finished writing and had moved on to sketching out the girls, the broken doll that the masked girl carried around like a treasure, the rooms and eventually her pencil began to scrawl head shots of the people in their group; first Liam, then Nick, then Conner and, eventually, Remy. In all honesty, Remy was the easiest to draw, with Remy sitting beside her, she could easily be used as a model for Nicolette's drawing. Eventually, she finished shading in the shadows of Remy's eyes and scrawled her name beneath the image. If they died in here and if somebody found her book, they'd know who the people were. Eventually, Nicolette stopped drawing and the room was cast into a eerie silence that sent shivers down Nicolette's back.

Remy snuck a glance at the notepad and was startled to see her own likeness staring back at her. In her opinion, the drawing was much more beautiful than she--her eyes weren't quite as dark heavy, and mysterious, and her hair wasn't nearly as luxurious-looking, but it was a brilliant drawing. "That's amazing," Remy said. "You're a fantastic artist." And she wasn't just flirting; she meant it.

Nicolette smiled a small blush lining her cheeks, she hoped it wasn't that visible in the dark light, she was a little embarrassed to say the least. Her drawings looked alright, but she wouldn't call it 'amazing' or 'fantastic' but that was just Nicolette; she never thought anything she did was all that great and could never take a compliment, h*ll her book was alright even with all the feedback she'd gotten on it.
"Thanks." she said, smiling and glancing over at Remy. She was probably the first person who wasn't weirded out by having being drawn without permission, a lot of others would have been pretty offended or annoyed at her; she was glad that Remy wasn't though. It was annoyingly dark in the room and she winced when she heard scuttling in the walls, she predicted it was the rats and she hated that. Rats just grossed her out.

Remy tried to ignore the scuttling, or dismiss it as rats, but it still gave her a chill, so sje instead focused on Nicolette. "I mean it. You're talented. Do you mind if I look st some others?" Remy asked, reaching a tentative hand out for the notepad. She had never been able to draw, and wanted to study the drawings.

Nicolette glanced at the notepad in her hand and then at Remy, all it had inside was scribbled notes and the head shots of the group. She instead pulled out a different pad, a small kind of sketch pad and handed it over to Remy. This one included a lot more images, only few having color as most of it was drawn in lead pencil or ink from a pen. Most of the drawing inside were of everyday people, kids in the park, people playing with dogs, families, couples dining and dancing, etcetera, etcetera. "Sure, here, this one had more pictures in it." she said as she passed the pad over before letting her hands fall back into her lap with a small thud. She put her pencil in her other notepad as a bookmark before stuffing it into her bag that was getting covered in dust that was littering the ground they sat on.

Nicholas narrowed his eyes a little staring at the kid as it sort of 'appeared' back into the room, he once more pressed the recording button and took a careful step back when it asked them to sit down, "May I ask you why?" he asked narrowing his eyes slightly as he studied the creature's look. It sure was a human, sometime on the past perhaps... but not anymore. 'Can demons posses dead bodies?' he mentally questioned himself, perhaps... that was an hypothesis. What if on the whole process of dying... yes... this was somewhat possible. Before you die your soul leaves your body leaving it open and free for anything to possess it though it doesnt usually lasts long since the body is too weak to keep the new soul, maybe this poor girl's body wasnt as a weak or this soul or... well thing possessing it was just too strong to let it die.

He shook his head once more then before giving in and sitting down as the child had requested and stared at her quite curiously keeping his body tense and going through his mind trying to remember where he had placed his knife though he was pretty sure the knife wasn't with him but on the motorbike just outside the building. The thought lead to another one. Water. That was something they would need eventually and if they were stuck inside they would probably make it only for a few days without water 'gotta drink the one bottle I have really slowly then....' he mentally told himself.

Remy exhaled in amazement as she leafed through the drawings, her fears gone for the moment. "These are incredible. Don't you sell them, or something? I bet you'd make a lot."

Nicolette watched calmly as Remy flicked through her pad, she fiddled with her hands in her lap, smiling nervously whenever Remy gasped in amazement. Listening to Remy, she kind of tuned out the scratching in the walks and the scuttling of rat feet on the ground and in the rafters above them. She’d been sitting quietly until Remy spoke up, eyes still locked on the pad. “They’re not that great.” Nicolette said bashfully. “I don’t sell them but I sometimes draw the art on the covers of my books…even if some don’t get published.” Nicolette said, trailing off at the end. Only three of her books had been published of the five she’d written, but she’d still drawn the cover art and let family and friends read them. They sat, collecting dust, on a bookshelf n her room; taunting her with how they’d never be published.

When Remy reacged the end of the book she flipped back through it again, taking in the details. "Don't be modest, these are really, really good. And you've actually gotten books published?" She closed the sketchbook and grinned. "That's more than I've ever done with my life."

Nicolette smiled softly when Remy flipped back to the start after finishing it once. “Yeah, but only three. Murder/mystery books are what I’m good at so the covers are fun to do. You know, with the blood and everything.” Nicolette said, blushing slightly, she never really talked about her books, mainly because people weren’t interested in them. She was oddly comfortable sitting there and talking with Remy, which surprised her. “I bet you’ve done some pretty amazing things to, you’re a photographer, right? Don’t you get to travel to take pictures of different places?” Nicolette added, trying to take the focus off her, blushing deeper when Remy grinned at her and looking down at her hands. Her middle finger on the left hand held an oval pearl ring, on her right little finger was a simple silver ring and on her right pointer finger was a thin gold ring with a spiralled pattern carved into it.
