Sol looks at this new wolf, this new female he doesnt know, but he Does know the plants she is using, at least partially. Storm knows more. He breaks her gaze and shifts under the weight of the wolf on his back. "Sol." rumbles the gold-and-red male at long last, eyes blazing brightly. "What is your name Fair one?"

Storm

Storm pins the plants under his chin just before he rolls into unconcious. Sol would take care of him as he had before, as they had always done. Blood drips down his silver-black pelt and and into the grass. Blue eyes flit open one last time and he is compleatly out. His long tail drags in the dust.

Nikki quickly chewed up some of the plants and spat it out the poultice ready she laid it in another leaf. She quickly cleaned storm's shoulder wound before putting the poultice and cobwebs on his shoulder.' There, and I'm Nikki. You are?"

Storm wimpers in that unconcious state he is in, and shifts until he is on the ground. His fur is matted with the filth of debress and blood, until she cleans it, but the wound still stings. He doesnt pay attention to their conversation, only on how much it hurt, and Why couldnt he just sleep? another whine builds in his throat.

Sol

Sol's green eyes glint as he watches the female work. She had said her name was Nikki. "Sol, and he is Storm. Got injured helping bring down a bull elk. Are you a part of Aimee's pack?" his fur is half raised because he is uncertain despite the kindness she has rendered, because if he lost Storm... a slight shake of his head to bannish that terrible thought.

" yes I am." Nikki replied. She continued grooming storm's dirty pelt." help me take him to the caves. He'll be safer there." She said. she finished cleaning his pelt and waited for Sol to help her pick him up.

Sol nods and follows the females orders, carefully picking up the unconcious male,and ighs when the plants not only get into his pelt, but also fall onto the ground. The huge gold-ref male bends his head, careful not to drop Storm and beguins to pick up the plants. His ever-hungry stomach rumbes but he firecely pulls himself away from the smell of the kill and waits for Nikki. "Lead the way." he murmmers with emerald eyes glinting wearilly.

Nikki helped sol letting some of Stom's weight lay on her. She walked carefully forward.Letting Sol follow her footsteps and get use to their motion together. she pushed through the snow and towards the caves. getting closer every step until they had gotten there." Let me take him in you grab a rabbit from inside, there is probably one or two." she said.

Sol smiles briefly. "I know, we brought them in." he says smiling, "They were our...barganing chip to get into the pack." his long tail wags, "Besides Storm make look like a puff of cotton-wood seed but he is much heavyer i do pledge you." Winking one eye, the male slips into the shadows with only a brief flicker of unease. Storm was the one who was better at navigating these things, the one with a golden toung...

Nikki laughed good-heartedly. She went in and set Storm down in the Medicine cave. she softly went over his wounds again to see if any of them opened. seeing that they where fine. she left to find the handsome brute. she padded to where the kept there prey." would you like to share?" she asked kindly.

Sol laughs and nods. "i would love to share a meal with you Fair one, How about a turkey-bird?" he offers pointing to the cold creature on the pile with his paw. "I assure you they taist fine cold.'' His eyes sparkle as he contemplates that she might like him, that maybe he could one-day have a family again..and not just Storm. Sitting on his haunches he waits for her reply, but not without listening to the sound of his friends breath in the cave. Snow sparkles all around him, making his fur look almost unnatural.
