.... do you guys ever think you overdid a commission or whatever when designing characters?

I was suppose to do this trad sketch design (kirin) for kessler, but it turned out so nicely I bet it could fetch a ur lion itself LOL orz
I just don't know how to limit myself when I draw mystical creatures I really like ;_____;

Oh gosh guys, so many purdy characters. Gonna have to do some art of some of them :)
And answering my own question;
When you create/buy a new character, how do you decide it's personality and all of that dandy stuff?
Mostly I have an Idea when I get a new character, but I've used roleplaying allot for my older characters. I find that a great way to have your characters get scars and get developed.

Jacob - After a really good friend of mine, but a cliche name.
Charlie - My little cousin's name, but also cliche.
Leo - My horoscope sign, but overused.
Heath - A friend who sadly died :c Only 13, too...
Scuff - Random, and doesn't really fit.
Almanac - I like History c:

When you create/buy a new character, how do you decide it's personality and all of that dandy stuff?
I agree with you I'm starting to roleplay whoever i can recreate on feralheart and it helps so much. usually i ask the previous owner if there was anything written about them and continue on from there but sometimes their image (given it has some sort of non generic pose) sparks an idea itself.
