For the sake of keeping rose and i sane, I am just gonna call my male charrie David eue I'll post him later, quick post before going leaving :3

Rose snuffed, curling her hands under her chest and turning her head to press it against someone else's body, David's she presumed. The house had begun moving and she was soon to be interrupted by some or another, probably James if it was up to him. Last night had been calm, but a killer for her. She had gone unusually wild under the influence of the moon and had almost lost control several times, which was unusual for her. Luckily, David had been around to straighten her out, to calm her before any leader pounced on her to be quiet.

Sighing, she turned around now with her back to her brother, and she started blinking open her eyes when she felt the comforting warmth of her brother's body leaving her. She curled up tighter, wishing that James was not so strict in full-moon mornings, and soon felt a toe prod her between the ribs. Instantly awake, she turned around quickly, ready to bare her teeth, when she registered the face. James. Upper pack, nothing she could say about that.

Still sprawled on the floor, she stretched from the ball she had curled up in, wriggling her wrists and her toes. Pain seared through her arms like jolts, and she grimaced; changing made her joints creaky, stealing her human suppleness from them in a few hours. Almost letting out a growl, she stood up, and looked around. Oh, great. The hall. She groaned, and shook her head, running a hand through her thick flame hair; not a better way to give an impression than sleep in the lowest of low places, the access to the door. Standing up, she noted she was wearing slim undies and a loose shirt. At least she didn't look all torn up like some people did, and her slim feet were protected by thick fluffy socks. Meh. Could be worse.

She wandered over to the kitchen noting Jessie's call and smiled, feeling the house restart with re-energized - to a certain extent - things. Shaking her head and passing a hand over her face, she walked into the kitchen, instantly alert as the top pack leaders would soon descend, along with many others surely higher ranked than her. She eyed Jessie nervously, and James more so, flightily picking up a cuppa and sipping it, her eyes always on the people around her. "Morning," she murmured, slight annoyance and even a hint of awe in her voice. It always surprised her how it was so obvious to everyone who was where, and she hoped David walked in soon. She was closely tied with her brother, and together they were less pushed over than apart. "SO, what's the plan today?" she muttered, almost nervous at being heard. "Patrols? Chilling?" Cleaning up the house, for me I suppose?

She looked directly at James, her gaze growing more confident by the minute; she might be low, but she had a spark in her that made her challenge the ones above. She cocked her head, her lips pursed in a line, and her dark eyes wide and awake, for the short time she had spent in the kitchen. Coffee kicked her so high, she only needed a little to make her jump. Her metabolism was naturally fast, unlike others, and she was worse knocked out after a 'night's party' but was the quicker to arise.

David lay still, making sure he kept his breathing even, in order not to disturb Rose. She twitched and snuffled, slapping her hand occasionally against the mahogany parquet floor, and David knew that if he moved, she'd awake and all hell would break loose. As much as he loved his sister, yesterday had been crazy... to say the least. Rose had lost control, not once, but several times, and David had taken a nasty couple of scratches on his back and chest stopping her from jumping on anything that moved. He might by the younger one that held the more unruly reputation, but for Rose to lose her head like that... Something must be up.

Therefore, he stared at the ceiling, craning his neck to catch the shuffle of feet above him. Oh well. She'd be up in five, at most. Carefully, making as little noise as possible, he stood up, leaving his sister huddled up on the wooden floor, and immediately grimaced as the muscle on his back and chest moved while under the strain of two relatively clean but large wounds. Frowning, he made his way to the kitchen, knowing someone would be there to give him a hand.

Walking through the hallway, he made his way to the bathroom to pick up the first kit aid, and then to the kitchen where, hopefully, someone would commute. Indeed, as he arrived, he noted his sister already trying to stir up trouble, James looking on with Jessie nearby, and he frowned, shaking his head slightly. "Guys?" he murmured. "I need some help stitching this up," he said, looking pointedly at Jessie. He thought it unlikely for James to pay him any attention, so he asked the girl, whom he was not very familiar with. "I can do the front, but not the back," he said, pointing at the 20 cm laceration on his chest and the 30cm one crossing his back.

FARREN -
THE 'LITTLE' ONE

I don't like walking around
this old and empty house.
So hold my hand, I'll walk
with you, my dear. The
stairs creak as I sleep,
It's keeping me awake.
It's the house telling you
to close your eyes.

Some days I can't even
dress myself.It's killing
me to see you this way.
Cuz though the truth
may vary. this ship will
carry, our bodies safe
to shore.

A cold bead of sweat trickled onto her lap, dropping like a bullet and staining the torn midnight black trousers. Restrained by her hands and legs, she was unable to move apart from awkward twisting. It had been the full moon the night before, and still stiff and aching from the pain her transformation caused; most of the pack were used to it by now, but being only a mere child, she struggled, and blacked out. As a result for her carelessness, she had been captured. With a shudder, she awoke, confused the instant she broke from her dreamless slumber. It had always been dreamless, the night concluding the full moon. Instantly after the frightful realisation of the current happenings, she broke into a fit of tears and a sense of claustrophobia. Vulnerable in her weakened state, she began to try and focus on something important; getting her out of the ropes that contained her on the wooden chair. Beginning to suck her breath, she closed her eyes and tried to impede her panicking – all efforts were in vain as it was futile in her fitful state. Though she stopped abruptly, listening to the faint yet distinguished sound of the closing of a door. Farren shuddered violently, her wrists rubbing against the stained ropes until they bled, but only slightly. As the drumming of footsteps came closer, she felt the breath of someone behind her, and choked on her own fear as a silent solitary tear stained her ill-looking ghostly pale face.

    L a k e ;

Lake seemed to bound down the stairs like a puppy. The energy beneath his skin was set to a boil as wolf blood still pumped strongly through his veins. The trek down the stairs caused his freshly applied white bandages to turn red. As usual, Lake had stirred up a tussle during the night and now had to deal with a nasty wound across his already scarred torso. He'd stitch it up after a food meal when the healing process would speed up a little bit.

When the young man reached the bottom step of the stairs, his nostrils flared as he breathed deeply. pack. coffee. sleep. pack. sweat. blood. milk. pack. His wolf sense left as quickly as it had come, leaving Lake to wander into the kitchen, ready to claim his coffee and see else who else had brawled during the night.

His golden wolf eyes glared and challenged those lower than himself. His lip would curl if a submissive didn't react quick enough. challenge. challenge. challenge. submit. The last instinct only came when Lake entered the actual kitchen where James and a few other wolves sat or stood. The blood came from one of the lower wolves, nothing life threatening, and the only thing that made Lake concentrate on his movements was one of the higher wolves.

Now Lake was more careful and cautious as he headed for the steaming cups of coffee on the counter, close to James. Despite the protest of flaring wound he lowered his body ever so slightly and his eyes never met James'. To look a more dominant wolf in the eye was a challenge, and Lake had enough sense, at the moment, to not pick a fight he wasn't ready for.

With the coffee cup claimed, Lake headed towards the patio door in the kitchen that lead out to the back deck, over looking the view of the forest. He slid the door open with ease and inhaled as soon as the blast of fresh air hit him.

pack. dew. squirrel. moss. grass. trees. birds. river. pack. home. Again scents flooded Lake's nose, sound and sight only agreed to what he had already he had accessed of the area by scent. It was still dark out, with dawn approaching and the night left a chill in the air.

Even though the moon had vanished from the sky, Lake still felt its pull as goosebumps raised across his flesh. He leaned into the railing, ignoring the feeling that came just before he shifted. He could control it now, but later he would happily let the wolf take over again once he greeted the moon.

    S o r a ;

Sora soon rolled to her bare feet and balanced on her heels as she yawned. Even though the floor was hard, it was nice to sleep on. She had fallen asleep next to the couch on the carpet, and having other pack members around the room was reassuring.

Seeing as others were still waking up, Sora decided to head to the kitchen now before a stampede of hungry wolves could form and run her down. Her long red hair flowed down her back in messy waves and her long pj pant legs almost made her trip in the hallway.

Even before she reached the kitchen, her shoulders dropped and her eyes flickered to the floor. She brushed past other pack members, gentle greeting gestures that their wolves used. A human might see a room of fill of tension and half-asleep teenagers, but Sora saw it much different.

The wolves gave each other respect, greeted one another, and all along had each other's back. That's what she loved about being right here, right now. Even between fights, where blood might be drawn, it was all for pack. If a wolf wasn't doing their job then it cause the rest of the pack to move out of sync, which was never good.

Sora grabbed a pitcher of orange juice and cups. She poured herself a glass and left the rest for the other wolves. She loved the smell of coffee in the morning but didn't like the taste.

Seeing her sister, Sora instinctively moved towards her with neck titled slightly. Her sister was always grumpy in the morning after a full moon. She took her seat next to the older teen and watched the other wolves, never looking directly at any wolf for too long.

Let's paint the picture of the perfect place
They got it better than what anyone's told you
They'll be the king of hearts and you're the queen of spades
And we'll fight for you like we were your soldiers

I know we got it good, but they got it made
And the grass is getting greener each day
I know things are looking up, but soon they'll take us down
Before anybody's knowing our name, they got

All the right friends in all the right places
So yeah, we're going down, they got
All the right moves and all the right faces
So yeah, we're going down

Do you think I'm special? Do you think I'm nice?
Am I bright enough to shine in your spaces?
Between the noise you hear and the sound you like
Are we just sinking in the ocean of faces?

It can't be possible, that rain can fall
Only when it's over right here
The sun is shining everyday but it's far away
Over the world they say, they got, they got

All the right friends in all the right places
So yeah, we're going down, they got
All the right moves and all the right faces
So yeah, we're going down

Everybody knows, everybody knows where were going
Yeah, we're going down, they said
Everybody knows, everybody knows where were going
Yeah, we're going down

It don't matter what you see, I know I could never be
Someone that'll look like you
It don't matter what you say, I know I could never face
Someone that could sound like you

All the right friends in all the right places
So yeah, we're going down, they got
All the right moves and all the right faces
So yeah, we're going down

Jessie's attention was drawn towards the door when Rose and David entered. She didn't know them well, but she had gathered that they were brother and sister. They both seemed somewhat disheveled, but she quickly countered that with the fact that everyone did, herself included. Jessie had gotten lucky though. She was still dressed and had no obvious damage, apart from the ache in her tired muscles. As her gaze went from Rose to her brother, she quickly spotted the wounds he bore. Jessie cringed slightly at the sight. Ouch.

She didn't miss the incisive look she received from him as he asked for help, and briefly wondered why Rose didn't tend to him instead. Pushing her bitterness aside, she rose from the wooden stool and stepped over to David, faintly noticing the presence of her younger sister Sora. "Yeah, I'll help." she murmured, reaching for the first aid kit he held. Jessie felt small next to him, even at her height of five feet, eight inches. Her thin frame, compared to his larger one, made her seem particularly petite - and uncomfortable.

As she assessed his injuries, someone entered the room yet again. It was Lake, one of the higher-ranked wolves. It was distinctly difficult for Jessie not to rise her head and meet his gaze, and one could tell by the way she tensed up slightly. She glanced at him momentarily before ducking her head slightly at his penetrating glare. She knew better than to challenge a wolf who held a higher ranking than herself. She wasn't necessarily low, but she couldn't claim any special authority.

The air was pregnant with tension, Jessie noted glumly. She knew she was contributing to this with her own sour attitude, but no one - not one soul she had seen yet - was relaxed. Wolf blood still flowed through their veins, more so in some than others.

Claire Russo.
A loud male voice cut through the fog of sleep like a knife, disturbing Claire Russo from the little rest she was getting. The night before had been... wild. She didn't remember much from it, but enough to know that she hadn't gotten into a fight with anyone or that at no point had she completely lost it. Overall it had been a good night. However, now it was morning and the real world awaited.
She had crashed on the couch the night before, collapsing onto it and barely managing to grab the blanket that hung over the back before she was out for the count. If there was one thing she could do well it was sleep, but she didn't take kindly to being woken early. Now, as she stretched out along the piece of furniture, she was barely fully lucid before the blanket was being torn off. The sudden exposure to the cold was far from pleasant and she was prepared to yell in the offender's direction, but she held back. And it was a good thing she did; it would do her no good to get in an argument with James - especially this early in the morning, and so soon after a full moon.

"I'm up." Claire moaned, pushing herself up into a sitting position with a low groan. She always felt stiff after shifting, and felt even worse after a full moon; but it was all worth it in the end. The smell of coffee brought her to her senses, bright hazel eyes opening to look around. Movement next to her feet distracted her momentarily, but after realising that it was Sora getting up she focused her attention on her original goal; coffee.
The young woman got to her feet, pushing herself off the couch to give her body a little bit of momentum. It worked, however she subsequently ended up losing her balance and stumbling towards the kitchen. Fortunately she caught herself on the door frame before gravity had the chance to take control.
Her yoga pants were ripped in various places, as was her white tank top, and somehow she'd managed to lose her socks; but she couldn't find it in herself to care.
Claire entered the kitchen and headed straight for the coffee machine. She barely noticed anyone else in the room until she had filled herself a cup and taken a large swig. Coffee was probably the only thing that could get her up in the morning. She turned away from the machine and leaned bag against the counter, one arm wrapped around her stomach while the other held her mug up. The tension in the room was palpable and making her anxious, so she decided to try and remedy it. "Morning all."

Tobias hadn't gone to sleep after the night's events, despite being completely exhausted. He rarely slept as it was, but it was incredibly rare for him to allow himself to sleep after a transformation. His paranoia kept him up to watch over the pack while even the leaders slumbered. And he would continue to do this until he passed out. He watched James from a darkened corner at the top of the stairs as he drowsily navigated the kitchen. Tobias himself was only clothed in a pair of battered jeans, showing off his moon phase tattoos and myriad of scars, many of them admittedly from James. When he was sure he wouldn't be seen by his... superior, he padded down the stairs, silent on the balls of his bare feet, and slipped out the door.

The sun wasn't quite cresting the horizon yet, but the moon had disappeared from the sky. Tobias rolled his shoulders and then stretched his arms out in front of him, curving his spine. Man, he was sore. The older he got, the worse this seemed to get; he couldn't even remember getting sore five years ago. The not sleeping had gotten worse too. He liked being outside more than anything, but he was also scanning for things that might have been amiss. Transformation nights were crazy enough as it was, but it really didn't help that lately Tobias' memory of his wolven nights was starting to come in fragmented patches. One thing in particular was sticking out to him, though. And that one prominent memory was what made him think it was necessary to scan the perimeter.

Even in the dark just before dawn he was able to see fairly well, and as he made his way around the side of the house, he found a familiar figure. She was part of the pack, the lowest ranks, and she had been part of that memory last night that was stuck to his brain. Simera. He'd seen her by herself, as she often was but he didn't know that since he was so high up in the ranks. She's passed out here in nothing but a nude camisole and black spandex shorts. Her hair was stringy and matted from dirt and sweat, and she was looking just a little rough overall.

"Hey," he said, full volume, placing a bare foot on the girl's side and shaking her body. "It's time to get up, fun's over." He received a groan and groggy bat at his foot in reply, at which point he pushed on the girl until she had flipped over onto her stomach. "Up," he demanded, much less friendly this time. Simera groaned again but, now awake, pushed herself up to her feet with shaky arms. Futilely brushes off dirt from the skin on her legs, she rubbed her eyes, looked up at Tobias, and then almost just as quickly down at her own naked feet."I'm going," she mumbled, walking in front of him to get into the house. Her feet shuffled, and she stumbled once on a patch of grass, but she made it inside without any protests.

A final look over his shoulder and Tobias was heading back into the house too. Both were sluggish. Tobias felt like everything was moving in slow motion. Simera, on the other hand, felt as though the world around her was rushing, and she was stagnant. They trudged into the kitchen, Simera looking defeated, submissive, and somber, and Tobias looking, well... Paranoid, angry, and exhausted, just like he usually did. "I found someone outside," he called to wherever James was, pouring himself a cup of obligatory coffee. "You're losing your handle on the pack."

Once James was satisfied that everyone was going to get up, he trudged back down the stairs, not quite awake yet, which was clear. He was exhausted, really- it wasn't easy keeping a pack in line. He knew the older ones, the stronger ones, would be fine. Some of them even had a buddy system (which he really liked, even if he wouldn't admit it). They knew they had to be careful. It was the younger ones, who felt this was still all fun and games that drove him mad. They were the ones who would change tonight too, and James knew he would also. He couldn't help it, his wolf was just too strong. That fact made it even harder to keep track of them- half the time he couldn't keep a hold on his own self, his own thoughts. They weren't... him any longer. He was much grateful for the others that realized this (minus a few that liked to challenge him because of it) that helped out.

Leaning against the counter, James took a cup of coffee from the counter, holding it in his hands to warm them. He didn't quite like to drink coffee, didn't like the taste either, but it was a staple around here. They all drank it, liking it or not. He didn't allow energy drinks, so coffee was the next best. There was sugar and cream in the cupboards, along with whatever else funky things they liked to mix in it.

When everyone stopped coming in, James finally looked up and yawned, his eyes sliding over each and every one of them. "How many down stairs?" he called, and it was a moment before anyone answered. "Three!" He nodded, before looking over the others once more, mentally going over who was supposed to be there and who was there. "Shut up, Tobias," he snapped, in no mood for him today. "Keep it up and you'll end up with a few more of those marks," he threatened, scowling for a moment before continuing to take note of who had injuries, who had what. His frown deepened considerably when he came up two short. IT took him a moment, and he had to look over one more time to be sure, but then he realized who was missing.

"Farren!" he exclaimed. "Where's Farren!" His angry eyes descended upon Jessie, who he was pretty sure that he had put in charge of Farren the night before. "Where is she?" she snapped, narrowing his eyes like she was just supposed to know.

Kaleena ran up to the front door, pushing her way in suddenly, the door slamming open. She looked frightened, not something she usually did. James looked over with surprise, and she momentarily dipped her head in a slight nod of greeting. She was only dressed in spandex shorts and a baggy sweatshirt, since she didn't have anything on under it (although, she didn't have much of a frame to cover anyway). These people were like her family, most of them anyway, and she didn't quite care how indecent she was around them any longer. They'd all seen her in various states of clothing and vice versa, it wasn't as if after a shift they just had clothes on. She'd been on her way over here from her home, since James called a meeting every morning after a full moon, and her fright (more like terror) was displayed fully.

A man had approached her, one she had never seen before, but he moved... funny. Like he didn't quite like standing up on two legs. That alone gave her the information she needed. He had told her all the things they were to do to Farren if they didn't get what they wanted. "They have Farren!" she said, out of breath, but it was loud enough for everyone to hear. "They have her and they said they'd kill her if we don't hand over two others... He didn't say why..." biting her lip quite hard, Kaleena clenched her hands to try and stop them from shaking, blinking back panicked tears.
"Alright, alright," James said, reaching up and pinching the bridge of his nose. "Everyone, calm down, keep calm..." He sighed to himself, giving a slight shake of his head, trying to think what they were supposed to do.

David nodded thanks to Jessie, and passed her the kit - actually, more like let it go when it was taken from his hands by the girl - and turned around so that Jessie could tend to his back while he addressed the front. Taking the small bottle of Betadine, he poured it freely over his chest, not really worrying about the stains it might cause on his trunk and on the floor, but by the sting of the stuff on the open wound.

He hissed, clenching his fists and feeling his blood broil as he began to loose it to the pain; he felt the wolf in him call to the outside, scents and sounds becoming sharper whilst he felt his hands begin to morph. Shaking his head, he clenched his eyes, calming his other self inside, knowing that if he partly-shifted in the kitchen, hell would break out for him and his sister, for he couldn't help but notice the charged atmosphere as Tobias snapped at James. "Thank you," he muttered under gritted teeth, not because he held any grudges against Jessie, but just because the pain was tickling his ivories.

James finally spoke a word, and ignored her sister's defiance. David gave a little sigh of relief; Rose was being too damn sneaky for her own good. It would get her nowhere - especially because she was lower pack - and probably, if anything annoy the higher leaders into making her clean up the house or give her some nasty scratches on her back or chest.

"Gosh, everyone's in a great mood today," he muttered, before wincing slightly as James let out a snarling comment directed to Jessie over the lack of prescence of the little girl... His eyes widened and he paled slightly at the prospect of someone having kidnapped a fellow pack member, and his lips turned into a snarl. He would rip them to shreds if anyone touched the girl, and he felt his blood begin to simmer. Keep a hold in it, David. Not now. It took him several minutes to manage to calm down to a decent level, and he shook his head, angry. "I'll hurt any of those b*stards if they put a limb on Farren," he said, voice full of hatred.

All the right friends in all the right places
So yeah, we're going down, they got
All the right moves and all the right faces
So yeah, we're going down

Everybody knows, everybody knows where were going
Yeah, we're going down, they said
Everybody knows, everybody knows where were going
Yeah, we're going down

It don't matter what you see, I know I could never be
Someone that'll look like you
It don't matter what you say, I know I could never face
Someone that could sound like you

All the right friends in all the right places
So yeah, we're going down, they got
All the right moves and all the right faces
So yeah, we're going down

jessie

Jessie's movements were rigid; her fingers stiff. She was sluggish with her progress on the cleansing and stitching of David's wound, much to her own grim realization. She willed herself to work smoother, but her focus faltered as more people came in and out and the tension grew incredibly dense in the early-morning air. By the time she had finished, Jessie silently wondered if she had hurt David in the process of helping him. Hopefully not. She nodded her head when he thanked her, and then realized he couldn't see her. But before she could open her mouth to directly reply, an accusatory tone was thrown her way.

Jessie flinched away from James' enraged shout, and her inner wolf cowered slightly. She felt put on the spot under his heated glare, and the impulse to defend herself was intense. She couldn't possibly know where the child was- she hadn't been watching over her the night before. "I don't know." she responded, her voice shaking, but not from fear. It was from anger towards whomever had touched the girl- and partially towards James, but that wasn't easily detected.

The thought of someone snatching Farren up left most everyone trembling with anger, and even Jessie was staring with a tensed stance at nothing in particular. She must have realized that she was meant to watch Farren the night before- this was her fault. Still, she remained rather impassive, which was nothing unusual for her. The only way one could notice that she was giving any sort of consideration over this was by the fact that she was staring at absolutely nothing, and she was grinding her teeth.

NAOMI

Naomi was one of the first people awake- and one of the only ones who might be in a generally good mood. She sipped her coffee with a faint smile on her full lips. She leaned on her elbows against the kitchen counter, watching her packmates with her usual optimistic attitude. She too had noticed the tense air, but she still had hope that the day would get better. As she mused over the glares and mutters, she momentarily forgot about her own place. Lake was in a particularly bad mood - such was obvious by the way he snarled at the first sign of a challenge. Naomi decided it was best she not get on his nerves- or anyone's- this morning. Everyone was too high-strung; her optimism might not be appreciated. Or maybe it would... she pondered, nibbling on her lower lip in thought.

Naomi was startled out of her reverie when a loud shout echoed around the room. Farren was missing, and James was mad- very mad. She swallowed and anxiously watched as Jessie shrunk away from James' furious outburst. Will she be punished? Naomi wouldn't wish that upon anybody, but she herself was slightly miffed by the news of the missing girl. She had developed a certain fondness towards her, and the designated baby-sitter had forgotten to watch her. Naomi narrowed her eyes towards Jessie, who was already looking rather frustrated with this new attention.

    L a k e ;

A cold draft suddenly crept its way up Lake's spine, sending goosebumps slithering down his back. He leaned inside the house with arms braced on both sides of the sliding doors, listening silently. As soon as he heard James he had left his coffee cup on the wooden banister to see what or who had boiled his blood.

Now though, Lake realized it was much more then just one wolf who was offset. Lake's own wolf stirred instantly and he wondered why he hadn't noticed the young girl's missing absence. Even though her scent was all over the house, none was fresh. Tension and fear seemed to sweep the room as soon as the realization settled over the group of gathered wolves.

Pack. Pack. Pack. His wolf called, his heart beating faster. Pups in the pack were the most important as they were the future, and now that future was missing. Protect. Protect. Protect.

Lake took in a sharp breath, calming the instinct that threatened to explode through into the room and tear apart any wolf who dared lay a paw on Farren. He stood stock still, his eyes gleaming golden, waiting for a command, anything from James.
