i jumed down landing in front of Ethan "think im cute, eh?" i smiled sweetly

i looked at Kaolin

Kaolin blinked and wrapped her head around in her white scarves so he couldn't see her face as she nodded a hello. She wasn't good at greeting.

i looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "whats up with all the scarfs?"

"Tradition." Kaolin responded. "All the women in my family wear scarves."

"well thats stupid" i said

"how is it stupid?" kaolin asked, her face turning into a frown.

"why would you cover your face? Honestly that only draws boys to not want to look at your face" i said polietly but coldly

"maybe I don't want boys to look at my face." Kaolin laughed but took her scarves and veil off. Her small, smooth and tan face stated back at him, with a pair of dazzling but unique white eyes staring at him. Her lips curved in a smile. "better?"

"There's a great coffee shop about a block from here, I'll take you to it if you'd like" I said, pointing to my Dodge truck parked in one of the spaces near them.

Ethan laughed before shaking his head and strolling the other way before meeting face to face with Skylar "You are, but I must warn you I'm not one to have a girlfriend..." He said, knowing himself better than to lead a girl into thinking a relationship with him was an option.
