(( Thanks for accepting her! Anika shall be fun to roleplay. |3 Alright, thanks for telling me the time.))
As the sun slowly rose above the horizin line, everything seemed quiet on the Boardwalk in the Nobility terrtory. The street lights that were now always left on shone in the faint sunlight. The buildings along the empty street shone with light, still seeming to contain a flicker of life in the dying world of Arcadia. Yet nothing seemed to be moving about. Most animals weren't even awake at this time.
Suddenly, a dark shape flashed out of an empty Movie Theater, carrying some sort of box in it's mouth. Baxter sprinted as fast as he could out of the theater, panting heavily as he ran. He knew whose territory he was on, and the last thing he wanted was to get caught by one of the Nobility drones as he took what he thought was the last box of Junior Mints in the entire town. Food was so hard to find these days, and even harder to steal out of another pack's territory. But someimes a dog has to do what a dog has to do, even if it means risking your life for a box of candy that could barely quench a human's hunger.
Baxter quickly looked behind his back, triumph shining in his blue eyes. None of the Nobilities had shone up. Either they were still asleep, still at their base, or just didn't care if some loner took a bit of their food. But that was so unlike them. It was never fun when there wasn't another dog tailing behind him while they shouted words that even Baxter had never heard of. Taking their food had always been one of Baxter's favorite pass time, and the getaway chase was always the best part. But hey, he wasn't going to complain. Food was something a dog needed to survive, and if it ment he'd lose a little bit of fun out of it, that was fine with him. He smirked slightly, box still clenched between his sharp yellowed teeth, and whipped his head back around to focus on what was in front of him.
"This is as easy as taking candy from an entire pack." The English Shepard chuckled to himself. "Oh, wait, I am."
The papillon let out a long, bored sigh as she stared off into the distance, small brown eyes filled with an annoyed expression as she lay splayed across a lone bench in the park. Her head was layed down in her paws, right crossed over the other, her scarf twitching as the gentle breeze picked up slightly. Her long fur seemed to moved with it as well, which bothered the little dog. Anika lifted her head, staring up at the sky as if someone or something was up there that was annoying her.
"I could do without the wind," She called loudly. The only answer she got was the woosh of the wind, picking up speed as if to mock her. She closed her eyes, bracing herself as her fur and scarf whipped around in the hard breeze. The wind slowly died down just as quickly as it picked up.
Anika opened her eyes, growling as she glared up at the sky. Whatever the heck was up there controlling the weather didn't seem to be on her side today, as most other days seemed to be like. Well, to her, at least. Nothing or no one seemed to like her, and Anika wasn't so fond of others either. Ever since the day she'd been dropped off on the side of the road to fend for herself, her outlook on life as well as her personality turned bitter. She wasn't the obidient, innocent little dog she used to be. This town had toughened and smartened her up that way, but it had also made her cold, cruel, and just flat out rude. Not that she really cared too much about that, either. If she cared about the way others felt about her, she would've shaped up her personality long ago. There was no going back on the way she was now.
Anika grumbled, muttering something under her breath before rising to her paws, and then half-leaping and half-slithering down from the bench. Today would be another boring day, no different from yesterday or tomarrow.
(( Sorry this took so long to reply. ))
