claire russo is twenty-one and a subordinate in the pack. she's not low down in the food chain, but neither is she up the with the top dogs; in the middle is where she likes it. depending on her mood, her control over her wolf is moderate on a normal day. however if she were to lose control of her temper she becomes the wolf. she gives off a distant, aggressive vibe; and she can be both those things, but she's a generally nice girl if you were to take the time on her. claire has her walls though; invisible, metaphorical walls that protect her from emotional harm. she has her reasons for this - you just probably won't find them out. she's not someone who you can figure out right away, you have to work at it.

chase evans is nineteen years of age, and a pretty sweet dude. for the most part, he is a little reserved, calm and a little quiet; but he does have his occasional outbursts. because of his calm attitude, he usually has pretty good control over his wolf and his wolf is pretty docile; more so than the rest at least. he's a nice guy and doesn't really say a bad thing about anyone, so it's hard not to like him even a little - he's like a big teddy bear! but then there are the few occasions when chase... well he basically becomes the opposite; loud, brash and aggressive. this only happens when he loses it genuinely, or if he feels the need to be protective over something or someone he cares about. that's another thing; he's extremely loyal, both to his pack and to his packmates. but anyway, big, cuddly teddy bear!

Tobias is a very strong-willed person. He's also a bit cocky but is far from narcissistic; he keeps the pack's best interest in mind. Because of that there is a constant power struggle between him and his superiors. He's often characterized as a hot-head, but the truth is when it really counts he's able to keep completely cool.

Simera is an incredibly flighty person, and kind of unusual. She will often disappear from the pack for days at a time without any warning and act as if nothing had happened upon returning. She mostly stays on the outer circle of the pack and doesn't fancy herself well-liked or even noticed very often, however untrue that may be. Overall, she's a bit on the mysterious side, even with the people she's closest to.

She is typically called Naomi, though occasional nicknames have arisen through time, the most commonly used one being Peach. She was seven when that nickname arose, due to her odd and constant craving for the fruit. At seventeen years old, the nickname is still often used by her father, younger brother, and closest friends. She is easy to get along with, due to her optimistic attitude and tendency to look for the good in every situation. This aspect has also caused her to become naive in her judgment of people and werewolves alike, and it is her biggest fault.

Jessie - Twenty-two - The pessimist

Jessie, normally called Jess and rarely Jessica, is a rather gloomy girl. She is quick to point out flaws and notice weaknesses. Her inconsiderate manner is both a strength and a weakness, because while she might be unconcerned with someone's feelings, she is particularly perceptive. She is clever and a quick learner, but she often fails to be the friendly outgoing girl many want her to be. This disposition is somewhat less obvious when she is with her younger sister, Sora, but her pessimistic outlook is constantly there, no matter who is with her.

it won't take another werewolf long to see the flash
of lake's wolf eyes. lake and his wolf side hold an
intensely close bond. wolf instincts linger close in
human form, and his wolf blood can easily be boiled
to fuel anger. thus, lake does not do well in the
company of humans, and sometimes other werewolves.
he's known to disappear for weeks at time just to be
wolf and quiet the instincts that cause lake to go too
wild. lake is one of the few werewolves who dares to
shift when there is not a full moon calling.

sora's wolf is extremely submissive. sora and her wolf
are dependant on the other wolves in her pack and
she is often her sister's shadow when it comes to
dealing with outsiders. alone in the outside world,
sora's wolf will easily remind her of the danger
without being with the pack. but surprisingly, sora's
wolf is one of the kindest in the pack. with the pack
around her, sora is strong and would fight with her
life for her any member of the pack.

James had always been an early riser, but five thirty was a bit early for even him. The smell of coffee was infiltrating the whole house slowly though, and it was sure to wake the rest of them sprawled in various places of the house, in various states of clothing. It was the night after a full moon, and they'd had a good run the night before; no sign of the pack in the woods, for which he was thankful for. They usually all crashed at the main house after that, and last night was no different. The people who lived in the house normally (mostly the upper half of the pack, although there were two or three that weren't, including the little girl named Farren that everyone just looked after) were up in their rooms with whoever they'd allowed to crash with them, and the rest were in hallways, in the living room, and he hadn't checked to see how many were in the basement.

After having slept for only an hour or so, James personally hadn't had enough energy to go on the hunt for too much clothes, and his upper body was bare, exposing the scar laced skin. Most of them had marks telling if previous battles- it wasn't always an easy life. The boy almost fell asleep as he waited for the coffe maker, but when it finally beeped he jerked awake, taking cups from the cupboards and pouring what was ready into them before he put the pot back and started making more. Pushing off the counter, James made his way into the living room where a majority of sleeping people were, and took it upon himself to start waking them up. Pulling blankets of some, a prodding foot in the ribs or stomach of another. "Up and at 'em," he said loudly, moving up stairs.

Being second in command was something James took very seriously, and even though they hasn't been sleeping long, he needed to make sure everyone had gotten back safely. He would be sending them off to get some sleep at their own homes, and was planning on gathering a group for training later in the day. It was probable that they'd be forced to shift again tonight, only the ones most out of tune with their wolves able to escape that. As he walked down the hallway knocking on doors and waking people (he would stand there knocking until he got an answer, whether it was something thrown at the door or a simple 'good morning'), he wondered how long it would be until he was once again challenged. Tobias in particular had made it almost a habit to do so, and the position had long gone back and forth between ten, even though the other man was older. Everyone knew that they were to head down to the kitchen after being woken- it was the same almost every full moon morning

Jessie released a throaty groan when an incessant knocking the bedroom door began. She waited for a few moments in hopes that it would stop, but the noise- and vibration- was unrelenting. "I'm up!" she finally called, making no attempt to hide the grogginess in her voice. She was silently begging for a few more minutes of sleep, but she knew that going downstairs was mandatory, so she reluctantly rose to her feet. Jessie quickly addressed her current attire, which consisted of black sweat pants and a thin tank top. Deciding there was nothing she needed to change at this point, she wandered downstairs.

She entered the kitchen with a tired expression on her face. "Good morning, James." she greeted with a nearly imperceptible nod of her head. Her arms were crossed over her stomach, creating a slight hunch of her shoulders. She offered a small, close-lipped smile as she seated herself at the counter. She wasn't typically a very talkative girl, and this behavior from her wasn't unusual. She remained reserved as ever this morning, with her long blonde hair falling messily over her shoulders and shading her eyes.
