chapter 1
Maplepaw stared up as the wind clan leader announced her warrior name. Mapleleap. Was that her? She was to excited to pay attention.while she stood there she heard one of her clanmates yowled,bringing her back to reality only to see the camp suddenly covered in flames! It all happened so suddenly she was soon swept along, running from the flames beside her friend dustclaw. After running as far as she could they both collapsed. mapleleap crouched down and felt the flames burn her pelt as she wondered how starclan could let this happen

chapter 2
"Hey red" mapleleap heard a cat say "looks like this one alive"
Mapleleap looked up and saw to cats leaning over her, one was brown with red underfur and the other had long fangs and ...GREEN FUR?!?.she shook her head wondering if she was seeing things, but the cat just laughed "are you okay?" he said in a calm voice " I'm fine, but what is wrong with your fur?" " oh it's been like this since the disaster yesterday" he said. yesterday? She must have passed out. And why are they so calm? "Follow me" said the other cat with the red stomach.he then showed them some other cats he had rescued,namely:glass,vine,willow,violet,olive,copper,and flower along with her two kits, grass and lily.red explained that he was trying to save as many cats as possible to form a new clan.then mapleleap saw what she had so long missed.that he wore a collar with dogs teeth

chapter 3
"You were a bloodclan cat" she snarled."yes I was but we all must forget former loyaltys and band together for the last great clan"he replied.cats scouted around and eventually found a large cave created during the catastrophe were the camp was moved.maple (as she was now called)was still suspicious having a former bloodclan cat as leader but no one else seemed to mind.meanwhile a group of lions at the zoo grew tired of waiting for to humans to return and escaped.back in the clan territory new cats had arrived : cougar, sparrow, rock,snake ,frost, salmon, drake,Judy,and jaws.red had devised a whole new system:one trainer who trains all the apprentices,one young apprentice was chosen to be trained to be the next leader,the leader has 3 advisors who help him.

chapter 4
The clan kept improving. Jaws became second, dust became trainer, vine became medicine cat, and saber Judy and maple became advisors. but maple still wasn't sure if she could trust these cats, rewriting the code for their purposes. she stared out and reviewed the oddities of her "clan mates"; judy had a "metal(?)" paw, glass had a pelt made of so many odd colors, olive and copper had green fur and their kit violet had purple fur.jaws had wing like things on his sides(they didnt fly,he could hardly lift them),and of course there was red and saber. dust suddenly raced into camp "RED RED RED!!!!" red walked out "dust calm down what is it" "you wont believe it unless you see it your self!!"
