Iris strayed through the woods away from Inferno and the others. The blue roan shook out her mane exited about her future foal. Snorting softly she explored the woods. Perking her delicate ears she smiled softly at a cool breeze that buffeted her fur. The curious mare noticed something shiny in the distance. Iris swiveled her ears and walked towards it. It was very shiny, and had sharp fangs. Little did she know it was a human trap for wildlife, the to curious mare stepped into the shiny circle
As he hoof touched the middle thing, it shut with a large and bloody snap. Iris squealed in pain as the trap shut right above her hock. She pinned her ears at it and shook it around. Unsurprisingly Iris heard hoofbeats. Thinking that it was Inferno, she whinnied towards the hoofbeats louder this time.

Edge nuzzled her gently "I suppose. But it shouldn't be anything to worry about" he assured her, sounding gentle. "Perhaps it is just developing quickly" he suggested as he uncovered more grass for Dee. He gave his long tail a gentle flick. Parenting wasn't familiar to him, but he was excited that he and Dee would have a family.

Dancer's ears pricked as she heard a squeal somewhere in the distance. She recognized the voice and her eyes widened as she looked at Inferno with terror. "Iris?!" she murmured as she walked past the bay stallion, trying to see through the snow. "IRIS!" she called, hoping the mare was alright.

[mindless.]

A whinny snapped him to attention. Inferno shot after it, kicking up snow ajd dirt. Skidding to stop as he whinnied loudly to Iris he could smell blood in the air and grew more worried, racing after the smell. Ears perked and eyes wide with panic the bay stopped again as he frew near te scent, spinning around in a franic sesrch. Were those hoofbeats? He could see a bit of a roan pelt and whinnied, galloping toward Iris. His eyes moved to the trap. "The humans..." His eyes lifted. They were coming to claim their catch. Not as long as he lived. This mare was carrying his foal and precious. She would not be taken. His muscles tensed and angrily rolled under his pelt. Dark eyes searched for the humans.

Dee shrugged. "Yeah. Probably." The mare cantered to catch up with Edge and quickly gnawed at the grass. It was almost like there were more than two hungry beings here. Almost like there were....two extra mouths to feed. Her eyes froze on the grass as she came to the realization but tried to push it away.

Wonder heard horses running around the two; humans. "Run!" She told her new friend; "Humans!" The mare galloped away; lucky she had long and strong legs she was running fast; passing many herds, next herd was Inferno's herd. A large stallions; but maybe he was too busy with his herd too see her rush by; so she moved over a little as she ran; watching the herd.

Cloud He saw a mare run by them in panic and looked in the direction she came from. He spotted humans and looked at feather and lucky "RUN!!!" he said and ran towards the other mare. He made sure feather and lucky were following before looking at the mare. "Do you know whats going on?" he asked the new mare kindly.

Lucky stared at Cloud in horror, although something made him obey, even though he'd prefer to help. He lightly nudged Feather, then galloped right behind her, so if anything happened, he could keep an eye on her. {WB}

Wonder looked at Cloud and snorted; " Humans are coming to capture humans. " she had her head high and then pressed on in a gallop; sharing the only info she knew.

[mindless.]

Inferno nieghed to Cloud akd Wonder. "What are you two waiting for! Run now and chat later!" Bellowed the tall bay. His dark eyes looked to them in urgency. There was no way he was leaving Iris but he would like to see everyone else going. The tensed muscles under his pelt rolled as he turned toward where Dancer and Night along with Stephano were. They were too far away. He refused to leave Iris. Inferno spun back to Wonder. Cloud he did not prefer to send. The bay whinnied to Wonder. "Listen...there are three mares and golden foal. A colt. He is with a black shire mare. Go tell her and the silver are with them to run. " Inferno said with an air of military command. His eyes looked expectantly and with a plea to Wonder.

Iris shook her ankle around snorting loudly. She flung her ankle around. She turned to Inferno. "Go! Just go take care of them." She instantly jumped as a saddled mare with her rider came forwards. The rider got off and stayed next to his mare. He kept an eye on Inferno. Guessing that the mare was in his herd, he took a small step forwards and held his hands out in front of him. He flicked his gaze towards his partner gaining up on Iris's side. He flicked a rope around Iris's neck and tightened it. Iris squealed in fear and yanked away. The humans where trying to help, but the pretty roan mare didn't know that of course.

Wonder saw the humans tie up the mare; she squealed and ran forward; throwing a man into the air; looking at the man with the saddle she reared up and screamed; she charge forward; getting ready to grab his neck; her muscles flaring as her mean personality took over her; turning into the hell risen mare she was.
