I started listing stargate people who had been on supernatural a while back. even then there is still some crossover.
I think they even make a brief if inderect reference to firefly in an episode of stargate SG1. because the writers of stargate loved firefly so much.

Have you also seen the Warehouse 13 episode with Sean Maher and Jewel Staite? They were tricked into accepting their roles but the writers HAD to have them both

Yes! it's one of my absolute favourites
I heard about that episode before I even started watching warehouse 13. That episode MADE ME START WATCHING. I didn't care that it was in season 2, I wanted to see the people who played simon and kaylee on screen again.

YESSS I actually heard from it from Jewel Staite at a convention, she told us all about Sean Maher's purple spandex. So when I came home I paid VERY close attention to the Syfy channel, and that episode is now on my HD recorder NEVER EVER to be deleted xD

Well I heard about it from a youtube video of a panel... from i don't remember what convention or what year

Same here about digital recording thing, well when it actually aired here anyway. (i'm in NZ, some stuff takes a while to get here, but the people at the tv networks here are getting better at airing stuff closer to when it was aired in other places)
I'm so grateful for DVDs though,

without DVDs I probably wouldn't have seen buffy, or firefly or most of the other older shows I watch.

Yeah they haven't aired stuff a long while on TV really. I tend to keep an eye out for shows I may like, find them on the internet and if I like get the DVD's
