Sun shone brightly through the window, heating her face slightly as she peered down at her notepad. Music played loudly in her ears and she hummed along quietly, tapping her pen on the paper. Glancing up, she looked at the others. She hadn't met any of the yet, excluding the director, Conner Davis. After a few moment she looked back down at her page and started writing;
Day 1; 10:00 am.
Currently driving to Fawn Orphanage, an orphanage shut down in 1984 after the wing collapsed. Four years later, the personnel had been massacred; apparently under 'odd' and 'strange' circumstances. From what I've read, these circumstances include bloody hand prints trailing across the roofs, and strange black liquid trailed along the bodies. Conner Davis has decided to investigate.
I've come along to see if I can find anything to inspire me to write a new story. After two years, I've decided that it's time to start again. Studying this investigation, I figured it would be something I'm interested in. Always had a soft spot for horror and mystery. I'll write more later.
Nicolette shut her book, the brown leather cover was smooth beneath her fingers. Her eyes widen as they pulled up to the orphanage. The cobble stone streets were narrow and the side walks were wide. The town was dark and the houses appeared to be abandoned. Nicolette sat up straighter and turned more to face out the window. She smiled again, inspiration started whirring in her mind. She waited for the bus to pull over before racing outside, she looked around with a bright smile on her face. Some of the roof was caved in and the collapsed wing was connected to a bigger building. She strolled up the orphanage, opening the door. It creaked loudly when she did and she cringed slightly before looking inside. Dust was everywhere and, where the sun shone through the broken roof and cracks in the wood and flimsy curtains, cast a grey light throughout the building. She took a few steps inside, it was quiet, too quiet; she shivered slightly. Suddenly there was a squeak and she jumped, she paused for a moment and looked around. After a few moments, she looked up and sighed nervously; only light fixtures swaying, nothing scary, nothing creepy.

Gruff noises escaping the back of her throat, she pulled half of her mask down to expose her mouth. "It's time," she gravelled, and once again indicated for the other to follow. She slipped quietly into the hole, and landed on a cross beam feet first, before crouching in that spot, staring in her black eyed gaze. She gazed at the hole which had been covered by an almost rounded slab of concrete, and she kneeded her fingers into the wood. If they came into their world, they'd feel the same fate that those in the basement- blood and bones only down there. Not a soul had survived in there, and she intended to keep it that way. Her teeth and mouth, though not as dramatically reformed as Janica, was still wide, pointed, sharp.
She glanced to the other, and grinned her sharks grin, staring at the riven hole that was Janica's mouth. Having no idea how it occured was what had drawn so many others into the orphanage, into the gloom, into their deaths. She dropped onto to the floor, and faced into the corner, almost a foreplay. She'd readjusted her mask to cover her mouth, and stared until her rage settled and the orbs dripped back to their milky white consistancy. She smiled behind the material, and placed her hands onto the walls either side of herself, almost bracing herself.
Demonic thougts on how they were to die lingered, but she pushed it aside for now. She was to mess with them, make them believe the two of them were tameable. She heard the door, and pushed against one wall, forcing the entire thing to shake, and the lights to sway. She hoped that they would soon enter the derelict annex. She dearly wanted to 'screw' with them. She relayed this message to Janica, and felt the grin cross her jagged teeth. This would be fun.

Janica smiled widely, unlike her friend, she never bothered to hide it. She liked her new look. She scrambled down next to the other and leant against the weak wall, maybe when they came in, she could push it down, cover the entrance. This was their world, constantly being rudely interrupted. When will they learn their lesson?

So this was it. Liam was actually apart of a team that was to explore the old orphanage. The boy was quite excited. He kept wiggling around in his seat of the bus, practically shaking the whole vehicle on his own. The driver didn't look all that thrilled but kept his voice down as if to let Liam enjoy that one bit of happiness. "Here's your stop," he heard the older man say. And Liam got out quite quickly, his gaze landing on the destroyed portion of the building. "I'm surprised they haven't renovated it at all and attempted to make it new and much better, structure-wise..." Liam trailed off, quite excited to get the investigation underway as he exited the bus. Of course, he wouldn't go in there on his own.

Liam turned his attention back to the building, hugging his small backpack to his chest. Inside were knick-knacks of all sorts. Usually items that would test the air, energy waves, and a small chemistry kit, much like they used in crime scene shows. Of course, this one lacked the technology, but could be useful nonetheless. "Oh, someone's here," he mumbled, noting that someone was right near the entrance, possibly a couple feet within the walls. She was certainly more daring than he was. Sure, Liam was interested to see what was inside and run some tests, but he wouldn't go in there without someone to have his back. He just didn't want to risk the stories being true and he just becoming a statistic. "Hello," Liam greeted as he took a few steps toward the entrance. "Um. Are you apart of the group that's supposed to be venturing in here today?"

Hearing a new voice made a growl rumble deep within her chest. More people- more fun, she decided, and pushed against the wall, causing the building to shake more so than before. It's almost as if she had the force of the tremor that wracked the orphanage so many years ago. She the dropped her limb to her side, and shot up into the rafters with Janica. She knew her eyes were the thick dead flat black that she took on in her emotional rages. She fixed her mask to that it was tighter around her mouth, outlining her nose more so now.
She was breathing heavy, rasping in the animal infuriation building up within her. She took a side glance at Janica, and settled a little. A very very little. She felt as though she were no longer girl, but beast. The line between those boundaries were blurred for these girls, the other especially. She shook with a terrible shudder, almost slipping, and tumbing to the floor. Instead, she pressed her feet firmly against the wood, and grasped the bough between her legs with one hand. She was now dangling upside down, and her mask slipped from her face. She let out a small anguished cry, but silenced herself, wishing not to alarm the humans that they were in there. For now.

Nicolette jumped slightly when she heard a voice, she'd been looking around the enterance of the building, scribbling and sketching in the notepad, scrawling down descriptions of the entrance for later use in her novel; honestly, she was a little worried to go any further in case somebody showed up. After all, this wasn't her investigation and she shouldn't have been snooping around in the first place. She turned around after hearing the voice and smiled sweetly, he was kind of cute and hugged a bag to his chest. She walked over to him, her messenger bag hitting her thigh uncomfortably and reminding Nicolette that there was a large sketchpad inside, one that was currently stabbing into her leg through the thin fabric of the bag. She was still smiling when she stop near him. "Hello. I'm Nicolette. Nicolette Kato...and yes, I will be accompanying the group today" she said, holding out the hand that wasn't carrying her notepad; she felt a little embarrassed for a moment, her words making her sound fancy and a little smart, not strange to her when she considered her imaginative personality. She thought she heard something, but ignored it.

Janica was still leaning against the wall, listening as the footsteps walked further away. She then signaled for Jody to follow her as she jumped up into the beams conecting to the next room. Janica wanted a better look at the new comer, maybe get some new ideas for some 'fun'.
She squeezed through a small crack in the wall and waited for Jody to appear before continuing silently to the middle of the room, enough to see out of the building. The light was blinding but she managed to make out two figures in the distance.

Conner Davis

Conner ran his hand through his hair as he drove down the road. A rather childish smile played across his face and he didn't seem to notice he was going over the speed limit. His mind was somewhere else completely. He got excited just thinking about the little investigation he had arranged, and now that the day was here he could hardly contain himself.
Conners attention returned to the road just in time to see the turn. He pulled up to the orphange and noticed that some figures already seemed to be entering the building. He quikley recognized them as the people he had selected for his team. Nicolette, the author had started to make her way inand Liam, a scientist who thought some sort of mutation might be an explanation to the strange occurences. Conners immagination had already run wild thinking of all the possibilities. He hopped out of his car and grabbed most of the gear that he had thought nessacary to bring. He figured if they needed more they could always come back out and get it. Hopefully. His last visit had been a bit nerve racking, but really that only added to the excitment.
With large strides he made his way over to the others grinning. "Hey there." He said in a cheerful tone. "Are you to the only ones here so far?" He questioned. Conners eyes glanced around the area. No other cars, so both of them must have taken a taxi or something.

She silently followed, shooting one last upset stare at her mask. She slipped through the hole at the top of the wall, and walked out across the Janica in the middle of the room. It was a cloudy darkness that surrounded them up there, as the windows were further down in the high walls. She stared, her eyes turning into the opposite colour of their current shade. Two, two people. She glared, her toothy grin turning downwards. She didn't like this, and had the strangest feeling that there was something inmportant in the male's bag.
She stared into her friend's eyes, and relayed the message, then moved to her feet, stepping along a cross beam connected to this, and stepped lithely so that she was above them, still covered by the black soot and dust. She caught a glimpse of paper in the woman's, but saw nothing in the males as the zip was shut. She wanted to know, desperately, but did not want to be seen. She noticed that there was a car outside, and saw more people.
Shooting an outraged glare to her friend, she shared this new information, before crawling back to her, now on all fours. When all are in, we close off all exits, yes? she queried through the strange connection these demon children had.

'All exits,' Janica confirmed. She looked out the door and at the new comer, recognising him. Shaking her head she ever so quietly moved closer, listening in to their conversation. The slight sunliht made it clear what they looked like, and she was glad that they couldn't see her up in the shadows.
