Well I know a want a few more couples, but i'm not sure who I want mates for.

I think a fin would be too main stream like other dinosaur characters,
Looked up some pictures,
and this is what the fine would be like..
I think it would be my easy way out,
but some flowy hair,
I might just end up keeping him.
How handsome does that seem.
And I could add a braid..

This is EXACTLY how he looks now. I have not touched since posting.
Not sure if his spots will stay burgundy, but it will be the same color as his hair/fin.
Last opinions.
(I love that I can come to the CAAA for some insight while drawing.)

Omg, the dino in the picture is a Spinosaurus. I love Spinos.
I think the fin depends on what you want. The fins aren't there just for the pretties, they're of some use (scientists don't exactly know). Also, the fin isn't just...a fin. It's made up of long back bones. So you'd have to keep in mind that, if your dino rolled over or fell on its back, it would snap those bones and break its back.
So if you want it or not depends on how you want your character to be.

As for hair, not sure. x)

Making a character for you guys.
Whoever wants to adopt him, may.
No where near done, but I have some questions..

Should his mane be actual hair,
or should I make it a fin like thing?

Considering how dinosaur-like he is, I think making his mane feathers would make sense(and look good).
Also I would to adopt him. ;A; I'm a sucker for reptile and dinosaur-esque things.
