Am I the only one who doesn't think Harry Potter is that spectacular?

^Probably not.

Debating over if I should change my username to Hortense 12-8 or something along those lines. /TooobsessedwithGOGH EDIT: Just going to change my username to (25-2) Gylfie.

Anyone else noticed how Erin Hunter series always have 6 books in them?

Well, you and those people who think that Harry Potter has a satanic scar on his forehead

- just a joke  , I think K.Rowling had some amazing ideas, but I didn't like that so many people died.
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

I checked out The Search For WondLa, and I LOVE the book so far. It's probably going to end up being a favorite of mine, and i'll pick it up in the future on hardback. Anyone read it?
[/quote]
I've seen that book at the library so many times, but each time I'm reading a ton of other books. Right now, I'm reading: Eldest, A Series of Unfortunate Events: the Miserable Mill, The Scarlet Letter, 1984, Life, and I just finished another one! Book overload! I do want to read it sometime though, it sounds really interesting.

Has anyone else read Edith Pattou's East?

I thought that J.K. Rowling was a really good author, but I didn't like any of the characters much. I liked the concept, but I also disliked it at the same time. It was really interesting concept-wise and all, but I thought that it was too magic-centred if you know what I mean. I don't mind magic in books, I just on't like when it's ALL about magic.

{No, I know quite a few people who don't like Harry Potter.

However
am I the only one who didn't like Catching Fire all that much from the Hunger Games?
I loved the 3rd one, but a lot of people hated it...

I liked the third one also, but I though Catching Fire was pretty good. It was highly predictable, but I loved the idea of the arena, and liked that there was way less romance than the 1st one.

Welcome to the bibliomaniac army! I loved the Screwtape Letters, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who's read then xD. I've also read The Chronicles of Narnia and Miracles by C.S. Lewis, but I haven't read The Cosmic Trilogy yet. What is it like? I also love Edgar Allan Poe and Agatha Christie, they're the best!

@Hippolyta-I've read East too, and I thought it was really good, I liked it a lot. Apparently it was based off a fairy tale, which is neat. I've read a few that seemed a lot like it, though obviously East has a lot more detail. I have the complete Grimm's Fairy Tales at home, so I've read a lot of fairy tales by now :).
