When Ash was told that he and Ashia were to leave, his heart had frozen. Not only had he been fighting for his life against these wolves, but now he was to travel to some unknown place that may just be a trap, under the leader's order? He did not have the will to say no, but he wasn't sure he would go the whole way. Until he head Ashia was going. Surely this place was real, if the leader's daughter would lead the way. Plus...she was the only wolf that he trusted.
That night, Ash settled himself down by a stream, watching as the night sky turned to a series of blues and twinkling lights. He took a deep breath of the clear air, his lungs filling up and his body relaxing. He had just closed his eyes when a sudden movement beside him sent him rolling over and ready to fight. But it was just Ashia, her silver fur as pale as a ghost's silhouette as the moon's light shone throughout the meadow. He looked down, embarrassed, and smiled. "Uh...sorry. I'm just...sorta on edge." Ashia's face turned guilty and she sighed. "I don't blame you. Alpha SharpFang doesn't know how to treat guests very well. I...I'm sorry you got into this." Ash looked up and smiled again. He felt a certain....softness for Ashia that he didn't have for many wolves. "It's not your fault. I was on your territory. I should have known better than to come here."
"No, don't be sorry. I'm glad your here." There was an awkward silence, then Ashia coughed and looked down. "Now I have an adventure to look forward to." Ash laughed, his fear halfway forgotten. "Yeah, I guess it is an adventure now. And...I'm glad I'm here too." Ash looked up and their eyes locked, and he tried to look away, not wanting to anger her by accidentally making it look like a challenge to her status as a high ranking wolf. But her eyes were the most beautiful emerald, the light and dark flashing like a gemstome as she moved. He couldn't look away, she was too stunning. She looked away first, looking embarrassed. There was yet another awkward silence. The frogs croaked in the grasses, the crickets played their melodic tune, and the hoots of owl and doves filled the air. Ashia looked up then, smiling wider than ever. "Good. Uh....we should sleep, so we can get up at dawn. We want all of tomorrow to travel." Ash gulped and nodded, laying his head down on his paws. He listened to Ashia's soft breaths and the natural sounds around him, a lullaby to his soul. Slowly, his eyes closed and he fell into a deep sleep, dreaming of emeralds and blue moons...

lol yes i love epicon! And Epiccino! Oh,and the outlines bug me too. I can't figure out how to get rid of the white pixels around it, blending messes the bg up and I can't get the color of the bg perfect enough to just fill them in. And I'm glad u found the froggy, he was uber-small!
