Nan jumped a little,frightened by the sudden appearance of a striking overo mare.Finally she thought,giving a sigh of relief."Woops,you startled me!"she exclaimed jauntily,"Indeed I am alone,all in these freezing conditions.What about you,are you alone too?"Nan questioned,cocking her blocky head to the side and drinking in her markings.There was one thing that caught her fancy,the blaze on the mare's face that so closely resembled fire.

Wonder nodded and giggled. "Sorry about scaring you." She smiled and shook out her long mane on her neck, " My specialty is being Quiet, I'm Wonder, what's your name?" The mare stepped forward and sniffed into the mare's muzzle.

"That's alright,alright.You do a very good job!I'm Nanandoah,but please call me Nan or Nani.That silly old name is just entirely too long!"Nan shook the snow out of her long coat,"It's a pleasure,a pleasure,to meet you Blaze."she said cheerfully.

Cloud He took a few steps away from the mare "You dont have to do any of that, i won't harm you, i just want to know your name" he said to the mare. He shook his forelock out of his eyes and looked at the mare. He wondered why the mare was acting so cold towards him, he understood not wanting a herd, but he had never seen a mare refuse to talk.

Her eyes as cold as the ice at her feet she turned around to glare at the stallion.Her voice was mechanical,cruel in it's tone."You have no need for my name.I'm not afraid of what you could do to me,but of what horrible things I could do to you."

The big black stallion reared high as a horse shot by so fast that he could not exactly make out features.Thrilled by the idea of doing anything but standing around idly he gave immediate chase.

DeeDee continued running as she heard hoof beats behind her. She smirked and dipped down into a lower valley. Her long legs barely touched the ground as she ran. The strawberry roan despised stallions, but it was fun to get them to go onto a Wild Goose chase after the pretty roan mare as she ran.

A challenge.This mare was quick,but the big stallion could keep up.A smirk crossed his face as he thundered after the roan horse.It felt incredible to stretch out his stiff limbs and as they became used to being used again he caught up some ground on the horse.
