Covian snatches the bacon away and crawls into Zernic's sleeve growling at Aiden before dozing off. "I'm sorry I snapped at you. It's just I've had Covian for 7 years and he used to be my brothers before he died, so I was worried he would be hurt or killed." She explains after apologizing looking down at the floor as she walks back to the room. Sliding the ferret out of her sleeve, Zernic sets him in his cage and sits on her bed picking up her kindle. "didn't you want to play this?" She asks Aiden holding it out to him.

Sirius gaped at him. Twenty one? As in, four years younger than her? Well, this was just going to be great. Maybe I should have lied, she noted. It might have reduced the awkwardness sure to follow.

Not wanting to appear rude and freakish, Sirius clamped her mouth shut. It wasn't to good to annoy a male roommate that was four years older than you. Stop thinking about that! she commanded herself strictly, but naturally her mind was insistent on straying to the topic.

Sirius cured her finger in her hair and looked down to her feet, which were swaying awkwardly in front of the bed. "So..." She didn't know what to say, but anything was better than silence, if you were with people, of course. "Um, so who do you live with, most of the time. I mean, before you were... here." It was a stumbling attempt for a question, she knew, but if she didn't try, it could have made the moment, and possibly rest of the day, difficult to stand.

Since , she always wanted to be the center of attention . Looking down at her phone she began to text her friends , since they would always make her feel better . It was their job after all. Looking back at Lucifer , and placing her phone back in her pocket . She smiled , "Oh , and im Melanie by the way " she said , with a little wink.

Sirius frowned. She knew it wouldn't be good if she launched onto a lecture of how their age really made no difference, mainly made up, but she couldn't help it. She didn't need a guardian or parent to help her out.

"Actually," she began coolly, "I usually live in an apartment, by myself." Rented out in my uncle's name and paid for by him too, she added mentally. "uh yeah sure." Zernic says when he asks if she was up for the beach. Putting her kindle away, s he changes into her light blue bikini and finds her grey flip flops in her bag. When'd Aiden finished changing She found herself looking at his abs and she turns red and looks away. Grabbing a towel she nods. "yeah." Grabbing a small backpack , she puts the room key, towel and her phone in it. Pulling her hair out of the ponytail it was in, she braids it to keep it from frizzing.
