Dusk's ears perked forward even more, and she thought to the hunter girl, using her Spirit power to place her own thoughts inside Artemis's head. Hello, human. She gave a doggish grin, and then looked to her brother as he leaned his shoulder into hers. She already knew what he was doing -- he was using her sight to see the other human girl, who had smelled a good bit ago, most likely. He snorted in her general direction, but using telepathy, he projected a friendly greeting to the girl using his mind. Greetings, hunter. He gazed at her through his sister's eyes for a moment, before he sidestepped away from her, his sight once more going blank. Dusk glanced at him and shoved her brother's shoulder, nipping at his ear playfully before looking to Artemis, her ears perked forward as she bowed down in an almost playful manner.

Slowly padding back to her den, Shadow Demon looked weary. She wasnt a old wolf, but she had experienced so much in her time of life. Laying down at the mouth of the cave which she called home, she rolled on her side and exposed her belly to the sunlight which quickly warmed her to her core. Sighing in pleasure, she let her eyes drift closed. It felt good to rest, and in no time she was asleep again.

Artemis had a thought, but she felt that it was not hers. Perhaps she was just thinking of what the wolf was trying to say, but that couldn't be it because it felt completely foreign to her. What sort of wolfish trickery is this? To send a thought but not send a thought? The second wolf's message was much more clear. Telepathy, that was understandable. Perhaps the Hello, Human. was a more subtle method of telepathy. It occurred to her, much to her embarrassment, that if they could hear her thoughts she was really being quite rude. But what was rudeness to her when addressing wolves?

Dusk's Twilight and Flame's Mouning looked kind and playful. It really felt wrong to be so rude, but she'd also been taught that wolves could be deceptive. Such confusion, all brought about by some younger human girl.

"Hello, my name is Artemis," she started, but what else was there for her to say. I'm trespassing on your territory to kill you, but thank you for being so polite? she thought sarcastically. Then a few words popped into mind. "I seem to have made a grave mistake and misjudged you. I would like to leave you in peace." Alive, if you would let me.

It wasn't a fair fight anyway. She'd have to leave without killing a single member of the Pack now. A day's hunt wasted because she chose the wrong prey.

Deadly angel with his fiery wings landed on soft tiger-striped legs more quietly than the wind's whisper. Azazel had returned from his unofficial mission of spying on the human resistance. He smirked to himself. What foolish little things they were. He took a moment to examine his surroundings, noting quickly that he was not alone. Shadow Demon was present and sleeping, and he wondered if he ought to wake her to greet him.

Being a manipulator of dreams, he had a much sweeter thought. Expertly, he took charge of her dream, weaving around her a forest of red grass and leaves. Dream or Nightmare? he pondered. A nightmare would be fun, but he thought it best to save it for when they were reacaquainted.

Fire, of course, having the actual power of Telepathy and not using Spirit's advantage of a minor telepathic abilities, could easily hear and understand the hunter girl's thoughts. You came for a wolf pelt, did you? he projected into her mind, remaining by the lake's shore, being careful to block Dusk from his own mind as well as Artemis's. Take one of ours. We have plenty from the wars. You'd probably noticed Silence's pelts. She'd be more than happy to give you one. he told her, flicking his tail, gazing blindly out over the lake, his ears swiveling at every sound -- even the ones his sister couldn't pick up on.
After a moment or two of contemplation, he stood from the water's side, padding slowly -- carefully -- toward Artemis, pressing the top of his head into her thigh, planning on guiding her back to where Silence's den was -- where she kept her pelts. We wouldn't kill a human who has done us, ourselves, no harm. he informed her gently, and then asking, Would you mind if I use you as a guide? Of course, the question could have been rephrased to be, 'I'm blind, can I lean against you as we walk?', but he preferred former version.

"Oh well...I'd be grateful to have them," Artemis said, sincere but awkward. If nothing else, no one in the community would go cold.

She was a bit uneasy about Flame's touching her side, but she quickly adjusted. It was clear that none of these three had any intention to hurt her and now she was rather embarrassed about her behavior and thoughts. She thought about Flame's words and felt even a tinge of shame. Wolves had done her and her family no harm, but they hunted them down anyway by virtue of being human. I still don't understand. Shouldn't you despise us based on the pain we caused your predecessors, your kind?
