So guys, it's been a really long time. I guess I just lost my muse for this story. But I am finally doing it! Here's your prize after being loyal to me for many months.

The first few days of returning home, I didn't do anything.
I had all my meals brought to me, and I just moped around, feeling depressed. I had no desire to do anything.
Then, on the seventh day (I had lost track of what day it was) an idea sprung to my head. I would writ a song! So I crossed to my dressing table, grabbed a plain price of paper and a pen, and began to sing as I wrote.
I am the girl from another world

I hear a knock at the door and look up. It's Mama's maid, Galaxy.
Yes? I ask politely.

Normally I would tell her to go away, but not today. Instead, I carry on.

I turn around to see a small selection of servants gathered at the door. I blush and close it, leaning against the back. I gaze around and make my way over to the bathroom.
Tonight, I was going to make an appearance.

I washed and dressed in a dark-coloured gown for dinner. I wore my silver tiara, and it was strange how familiar it felt.
Still, I was late for dinner. Mainly because I paced before leaving my room, unsure of whether to go or not.
I hurried down the stairs, humming my new song under my breath. I shoved the door to the Dining Room open, and everyone turned to stare. It was hard to blink back tears; everything looked the same, except for my friends sat down the bottom of the table, and a new candlestick.
Luna, how lovely to see you! Mama gushed, but I ignored her and sat in my old seat, trying not to blush, or burst into tears. How could so much have changed, and still be the same?
So, the spoilt little Princess has decided to show her face after all! Tallulah said sarcastically from further down. I leant over my plate, not letting her see how much that had stung. Looking around, I could see that Angel and May agreed with her. Could my best friends really be mad at me for running? For hiding? For lying? Now that I thought about it, they could.
The food came in and I sat through three painful courses, only speaking when spoken to. Nothing was right. Not even my voice sounded right. It was a third commoner, third royalty and third... American? I had spent a while there on tour, I supposed.
When dinner was finally over I fled to my room, not caring who saw me. I closed the door and flung myself into my bed, sobbing.
Everybody hated me. My life was a mess. And I was supposed to be crowned in just four months!
I can't do this! I wailed, Why me?
