Misunderstood,

Postby Jimmy Neutron » Sun Jan 13, 2013 4:29 pm

The pit bull breed is yes, the most misunderstood. Some people think its the dogs who are bad but others think it are the people who treat them that way to make them what they are. Still not are all mean. This is a pit bull in the pound, hopefully someday this won't be a problem. Timer is correct I hope you like it.done with a mouse.

I feel so bad for pitbulls, people are the reason that more people dont like them. They treat them bad, and it just passes onto other people. :(

Very true, i don't understand why people do this. Why they breed pit bulls either knowing that they'll end up like this dog i drew,

I do feel really bad for the pit bull breed.
It's usually the owner that makes them turn out the way they are.

That was a good story, hopefully more get spared because they are the number one to be put on row.

Yes bad owners make pitbulls bad but you must remember that dogfights are in there blood. I know people bred them that way and that there are nice pitbulls, but there breed altogether can get sketchy. They were bred to not understand the word "surrender" so if you make one mad, even if you didn't mean to, since it is a fighting dog it could very likely attack you and possibly kill you. I know that is technically our fault but they are still a vicious unpredictable breed, even if some are nice and well behaved.

They may not be the only one to blame, but they aren't angels either.

I agree they shouldn't be the "evil" dog breed but I think it helps to get a view of both sides. I personally fear them because one injured our family dog when he was a puppy and left him very traumatized.

Well, It all depends on the dog and it's past, and mind set is also included in genetics so if you adopt, buy or rescue a pit bull from a pound it really in my opinion depends on
- if your in their territory
- if they are spayed or neutered
- their heredity/parent and if they were dog fought or abused
-How they are treated
-if your arrogating them
-if they where abandon/ a stray when they where born
-if they have been starved before
-many other reasons
this is the same for any dog AND animal do not just blame pit bulls.I have had 2 pit bulls and a pit bull/German shepherd/st. Bernard mix and it was the most kind hearted animal i have ever met and he was big enough to ride like a horse. It is kind of a dog to be careful about though BECAUSE of these reasons not because they are "bad dogs" just like with humans every event in their life has an effects.
Hoped this helped some people with this misunderstood breed of dog.
