TᴏᴍᴏƦƦᴏᴡ'S HᴇƦᴏ

[Patch.]

"Where's it the worst?" Mazzy asks, unscrewing the cap to the jar of her purple paste.

[FamineMyth]

I slowly lean over, exposing my torn bare side. I close my eyes, trying to brace myself. I sort of held my breath also.

[Patch.]

"Relax," Mazzy urges. "Don't tense up your muscles; it makes it worse." She holds up a smooth stick with the paste applied to it.

[FamineMyth]

I sigh and try and calm myself a bit."Sorry.." I mumble.

[Patch.]

"It's okay. You've been through a lot." Mazzy carefully applies the paste to the huge gash.

Snapping out of my crying, I walk over to my two friends and kneel behind Griffin. I sit on my heels, reach around him, and take his hand while putting his head in my lap...for both of our comforts.

[FamineMyth]

I flinch a little, but try my very best to keep still. I feel Sammy pulling me back, and look up at her once my head is in her lap. I lace our fingers together,"You alright?" I ask.

[Patch.]

I nod, absently stroking his hair off of his forehead. "You were so brave," I whisper in his ear.

Mazzy covers the gash carefully then looks down at Griffin. "Can you lift your body up a little so I can wrap you?"

[FamineMyth]

I sit up a bit, not realizing I was shaking slightly. Not because I was cold either, which I was though. Seeing all the dead wolves, made me feel sick, and everything just smelled like death. It was very quiet now, and eerie. I didn't like it.

[Patch.]

I sit behind Griffin and rub his back while Mazzy reaches around him, wrapping bandages snugly around his torso.

I close my eyes, resting my head back on Sammy's shoulder.
