I like this. Maybe she joins highschool in hopes the adults don't find out she's parentless/rat her out to child services, and then realizes just how different she is from other kids her age. When they make fun of her, she's even more frustrated. Another older modern-looking witch is also a student, and upon seeing her, plans to kill her.

random, off topic, but quick question; would any of you be reading the completely brand-shiny-new first page of my novel? I literally just started writing today and if you're interested, I could give you a quick summary of it.
