Daeet's Name:Hikaru (Japanese for 'light' :3)
Daeet's Gender:Male
Daeet's Age:4
Personality:Caring
Hikaru is very caring, he will care for you as best he can if you are ever hurt or scared. He feels sympathy for everyone, even others he does not know. He helps others out whenever he can, it makes him feel very useful to others.
Shy
Although he is caring and not afraid to speak up to help others whom are upset, he is rather shy around others who approach him first. He usually speaks quietly around others, making him rather hard to understand. Strangely, he is not shy if he approaches someone else first.
Perky
He is rather perky. He never seems to stop moving, or smiling for that matter. He describes himself as "An unstoppable tank of happiness". He tends not to show this side around people he has just met, as he does not want to come off as too perky to be around.
Safe
Though he is not afraid to confront bullies, he tries to do it safely. He does not like getting hurt or injured in any way, it greatly discomforts him. In fact, he has never gotten into a fight in his life, and if he ever was confronted, he would run. Hikaru is basically the opposite of someone who is considered 'daring'.
Optimistic
Hikaru always looks at the upside of things. He never really ever notices the bad side of his situations, unless they tend to get very bad. He hates it when people look at the downside of things constantly, and tends to avoid those kinds of people. He is not really capable of noticing and pointing out the downside.
History:Hikaru yawned and jumped up, looking around cheerily. He padded outside from the dark emptiness of his den and crossed into the bright outside. He sniffed at the ground, something was different. It was very cold for one thing, and the whole world was colored in strange, white fluffy stuff. It was something he had never seen before, and he loved it. He quickly jumped right into the strange, cold substance. He pranced around happily, cheering out and bounding through it. He lay on his back and stared up at the sky, giggling. A small, cold droplet floated down to his nose. It reminded him of rain, but this was much thicker and allot colder. It came down slowly at first, then more heavily. He decided it was about time he went inside, and it was a good thing he did. A few moments after he had settled down, a snowstorm started. It was not scary, nor was it threatening to him. He thought that snow and all of its crystal wonders were beautiful.
Hikaru moaned and pulled himself up. He yawned and stared outside into the blizzard. It had been raging for days and he was not able to leave his den because of the force of the storm. He was becoming thinner each day, his stomach moaning louder each hour that passed. He also suspected a cold or flu creeping up on him. Hikaru didn't usually take risks, but he had to find food before it was too late. He slowly trotted outside to search for food. He was nearly blown away by the harsh winds and snow beating against him, but he pressed on to find something; anything really, to eat. His instinct drove him south, after the migrating birds. Of coarse, they were hundreds of miles away by now, so he could not find any of them here. He could barely see through the storm. Each minute felt like an hour.
He finally found it, after a full day of searching. A pond that was frozen over. He knew that the fish inside were still swimming freely, but he had no idea how to get to them. Hikaru stomped on the ice, creating a rather large crack. He stomped again. And again. And again. He stomped until he had broken the ice, revealing the fish swimming underneath. He dipped his paw into the water, only resulting in the fish swimming away out of fear. He sighed and tried again. Hikaru had no idea how to fish, his mother had never taught him how. After a half hour of failed catches, he decided to give up and go to sleep. Hikaru lay on top of the hole to insure that it would not freeze over again.
It was a terribly cold night, and he wanted to be back home in his den more than anything else. He heaved himself up, shuddering, and reached a paw in quick as lightning. He felt a fish's smooth scales, he had gotten a scratch at one. He was beginning to get the hang of this. He tried again, and again, and again until he finally caught a fish. He gobbled it up hungrily, and began his winning streak. He caught a huge mass of fish, devouring each one hungrily. He made it safely back home the next morning. The blizzard had finally stopped, and he could enjoy his days of playing in the snow with the sun shining once again.
