Serena bit her lip as she listened to Tristan. She was sure Aiden had left before her, so he wasn't back at the castle. Though Aiden was a very good fighter, she still was worried. "Maybe trouble around the border?" she said softly, remembering the patrolling knights at the border earlier this day.

Tyler smiled softly at the girl. "Don't worry. I won't tell anybody. Secrets are safe. I even kept some people from going on the balcony." he replied. It was true. Since Tyler was a knight, the worst he could do was ratt the princes out. But he wouldn't. He understood how it was.

Crystal sighed with relief "Oh how embarassing!" she blushed adnput a hand on her forehead. She paced adn looked back at him "Thank you, if someone found out i'd be wrecked" she smiled. She took her flower out "I found this plant out there, it was glowing".

Tristan raised his eyes at the mention of the border. "Nick and I actually ran into a few rogues on our way. They were seized by Avalon knights in the end, but I doubt they were the only men attacking carriages. There's probably many of them working together, as a group. We're lucky that only two tried to get at us. But there's a big chance that Aiden was sabotaged by a whole lot of them." He turned to look at Nick. "We need to look for him. He might be hurt. Or more than that." Flashing his eyes, he nodded to his sisters. "Pray for him." he whispered, not wanting the whole ballroom to know that Prince Aiden Lee Kross was missing.

Arabella was pulled out of her reverie by the sound of Tristan arriving. He sounded worried, and slowly she crept closer to the huddle her siblings had formed. Soon she caught his message. "Aiden's missing?" she asked, looking to her other younger brother. "Again? How can no one keep a bead on that guy?" She threw her hands up, half in disgust. But deep down, she was worried about her brother. He's never missed a social gathering, she thought her eyes flitting around the garden.

Roxanne peered around the castle after eating some food, still nothing really caught her eye and she had no one to talk to. She let out a sigh and then walked up to a balcony to where she could sit about and stare off into the night sky. Such a beautiful sight she thought to her self resting her arms on the railing. She enjoyed the Avalon court yard better than Elyadon one.

Yes he's missing," Tristan said, with a tinge of annoyance. He and Arabella didn't get along very well. In fact, he had stopped talking to her ages ago. Her arrogance and pride irritated him, and she could never contain her temper. Although he was sure there were good sides to his sister, he didn't take the time to find them. He was patient, but not around Arabella. "And he could be hurt. I must take my leave." he said, waving his hand for Nick to follow as he weaved through the crowd and out the carved doors.

Arabella's eyes clouded as her brother sped away from her. She clenched her fists once before spinning around and running after him. "Tristan!" She called after him. "Tristan! Let me come with you, please. I can help, you know I can." She stopped herself before she began pleading with him. She knew he didn't like her much, but she had never figured out why. "I can shoot just as well as any of father's men," she continued. "Let me help find him."

No, Arabella. I could not ever allow you to place yourself in danger. Father would never allow it, and so shan't I." Giving her a frosty look, the prince stepped away from his sister, still facing her. "And how would I know that you could possibly help? Or shoot as well as any of our king's men?" he asked. Arabella was always picking on Tristan when they were both children. And Tristan got his revenge over and over. But after a while, the bickering became more than a nuisance, and the prince ended his relationship with his sister. Now she only felt like an acquaintance. The Elyadon palace was so large, that you could spend a whole week exploring the rooms, and never finding anyone. It was more than easy to avoid her. And he guessed the same for her.

"But you get to put yourself in danger to help save family?" she glared back at him. "And I've been practicing, I'm a good shot." Why are you always so mean? she thought. It's because of when we were little isn't it? How could you know what you say hurts me more than you could imagine. "We're family, in case you've forgotten, brother," she grabbed his arm and stared at his eyes. "Let me help. You know I can."
