Looking through the page's of her favorite book "House of night" Kolbie sighed as she looked up at the sky. She was sitting criss-cross in one of the lawn chair's behind her house. Their was a great view infront of her so she often came here to read and think. "Kolbie! I have a meal fixed for you come inside!" called her brother's fiance` Makayla he had proposed to her a few week's ago and she just moved in. Although Kolbie had to admit she was trying to treat her like a sister and a mother and she was quite good too.
But Makayla knew it didn't really work but she persisted. "I'm not hungry" Kolbie said calmly. ''But come on in! anyway's! you might get hungry when you see how delicious it look's!" she said with a smile. Kolbie looked back at her and sighed closing up her book and getting out of the chair. She started walking towards the house.
When she was soon comforted by Makayla's arm that wrapped around her back and to her shoulder ''Good! i knew you couldn't resist my cooking!'' She said with a bigger smile showing her perfectly straight white teeth. Kolbie looked at her with a frown and took her arm off her shoulder like it was something totally horrible "whatever" she said walking off. Makayla looked at her what am i to do? she questioned herself as she walked into the house which lead directly into the kitchen. Kolbie looked at the set table and arrangemeant of food's. Grabbing a plate Kolbie picked up a fork and grabbed a plate with french-fries on it and sat down.
Makayle smiled ''see! You say your not hungry!'' She said as she put a piece of lettuce on her plate. ''What time is my brother getting here?'' Kolbie asked. ''Oh! Not until tommorow that's why i only cooked for us two'' she said cutting up her steak. ''Oh i wondered why that was'' she said picking at her food.
