Star got up to follow him."Uh, yes. And Bert...... I was Alpha." Star said quickly. She felt bad about her heritage, and how mean wolves were to dogs."You know, they do eat dogs when they get a chance." She glanced at Dante."You ok?"

Dante was suddenly snapped back into reality and he shook his head to clear it. "Huh? Uh, ya fine." he said solemnly, glancing away. "You were saying?" he inquired clearing his throat.

Star looked at him, like he was crazy."I can tell because you said uh, and huh and cleared your little throat. So speek up! Unless it is not to be told." Star said, she smiled at him and whispered,"I get it." Then trotted ahead of them.

Dante flattened his ears. He didn't want to tell her about his past...he didn't want to tell anyone. He wanted to pretend it never happened, that he had never done the things he had, that he wasn't a demon. And the only way he could get rid of his past is to forget it. And how would he be able to forget it after telling someone about himself? They'd never look at him the same way...

"Dot worry, i have a terrible past too." Star said slowly. She looked at the sky while walking."I want to start over, give lives back that i took." Star hung her head and stoped walking.

"Same here." Shark added, remembering some of lives he had taken. Dogs, wolves, bears, and even humans. "But what is done, is done, no need to cry over it." He muttered, not really want to talk about it either. He picked his way down the cliff, stepping firmly on the legdes.

Star started walking again, then raced past Shark."Run!" She barked laughing."Snow ball!!" A huge Snow ball head just been made and was getting bigger as it rolled fast toward them. Star laughed and ran faster."Better hurry Dante!"

Shark looked behind him to see it tumbling down the hill. "Woah!" He called, surpise and jumped down into the snow with crash. He got back to his feet and raced after Star, trying to stay out of the way of tehe now ball. Then the cliff rumbled as a wave of snow followed the snowball. "Avcancle!" He called.

Star smiled and slowed to match Shark's pace. She skidded to a stop and darted to the right into the trees."This way back to the barn! And dont get squished!"

Shark nodded and followed her, knowing Dante was problay gone by now. He leaped over a fallen branch and ran beside Star so his fur was just brushing hers. He smiled and her and looked behind to make sure they wern't in anymore danger.
