[I think I'll have Melody crush on Xavier...xD && I loooove Hot Topic. My mom rarely ever lets me go in there, though. She's scared of the music and the people

One time, I was in there for a half hour trying to pick out a Gir shirt, and there was this creepy screamo song playing, and my mom was like, "Hurry up hurry up! Come on! I'm getting freaked out here! LET'S GO!" It was great. And at the Hot Topic in my mall, they have a whole SECTION dedicated to Lady GaGa shirts, but some of the shirts are kinda innapropriate...but hey, it LG we're talking about! && I looooove aviator sunglasses! I just got a new pair and all my friends take them b/c they like them so much :3]
"Drama doesn't follow me it rides on my back. I may be ugly, but they sure love to stare." Melody sang along to the song that was blasting out of her car stereo. She was parked along the sidewalk with the radio blasting out of lack of things to do. Today was another one of those lazy summer days for someone like her. She didn't know why she was smack dab in the middle of civilazation when she was so...thirsty. She tried to shake that thought out of her head. She wanted to ignore the burning in the back of her throat at the moment, and then pay it some attention later. She began to hum along to Cute is what we Aim for a little more, leaning against the back of her seat and looking up at the clear blue sky. Tonight would be a great night for a stroll down the beach...maybe she could find her next meal. It would be easy to lure them to her instead of scaring her, wouldn't it? Her head lolled to the side a little as she watched a boy walking down the street. Human? He almost didn't seem human...but her pondering stopped when a girl ran headlong into him. It almost annoyed her...and she felt a pang of jealousy at the same time. He was cute...very cute.
"Crowded as ever." Mitch muttered as he sat on a rock at the far end of the beach, watching people play volleyball or swim or socialize or, God forbid, flirt. Mitch was never one to flirt that much, unless it was a girl he wanted to go after. So far, he hadn't found anyone like that. Mitchell was a very anti-social guy when it came to the beach. If girls tried to strike up a conversation or flirt, he'd just shake it off and make an excuse to leave. He didn't want to flirt with just anyone. He wasn't one of those guys that found pride in having girls swarm all over him. He was ashamed of it. And that's why, on days like this when it was crowded and packed with single girls, he stayed away and went to his little 'private' side of the beach. He wanted as far away as possible from any of them. Sometimes, he really hated being a human being. Soemtimes, he wished he could be some kind of bird or something that could fly away whenever it was bothered, live a short life, and then leave the Earth. But he wasn't. He wasn't able to hide forever. But he could hide for a few hours, that is.
