SHark's howl died away as he turned to Star, "Ok." He muttered and looked back over the cliff. It was beginning to get darker and they should problay head back soon so that way ANa doesn't worry about us. Plus, one of his cuts was still bleeding and he wanted them to get treated so they didn't start bleeding while running tomorrow. He sighed and waited for Star to tryurn from whatever she was doing.

Dante yawned and slumped onto his belly, rolling in the fresh snow. "So...Shark...how long have you been leader?" he asked curiously, trying to break the silence.

Just then two wolves emerged from the darkness. They came up, so Shark and Dante were trapped on the cliff edge."I'm hungry, arn't you Bert?" Said one. The other nodded slwoly."Yes,"It said," I am hungry." They paced back in forth infront of them. Just then Star exploded from the bushes and landed infront of Shark. Her tail and head were down, her ears pinned back and teeth showing."Stay back, retards." She steped back to whisper to Shark,"Dont attack."

[Ranua]

Dante looked at the wolves, smiling. "Finally! I was beginning to think you guys had no decent scratching posts!" he said flicking his tail.

SHark nodded, slightly confused. He growled at them, baring his fangs. "You really want to call us retards?" He snarled, doing his best ti make it sound like he was really mad at Star. He lashed his tail, and placed his legs on either side of him like he was getting to fight.

The two wolves looked at each other in confusion. Then looked at Star in surprise.'Hey, get back girl, we hungry."
"No." Star repled with a snarl."Leave them alone dork heads."
"Oh, baby come on." Bert smiled."Lets have dinner in the moon." He looked at the daogs with sly smile."Doggy sounds good."
"No Bert, go."
"Fine, but we'll be back with pack." Bert said, looking at Shark."Ta ta Star." They ran off. Star stayed like she was, head low with teeth bared.

Dante glanced at Star. He didn't know what was happening...but he trusted Star.
Thoughts raced through his mind as he glared at the two wolves, his ears flattened. When they left he snorted, getting to his paws. "What the hell was that about?"

Star flicked her ears and lifted her head."Uh, be careful in these parts, forgot there was a pack here." She gulped and sat on the edge of the cliff, facing away from them."Uh, ignore them, dont know left from right, but thats what you get when wolves go hungry, they eat anything."

"Ok, well we should problay get back before the pack comes back and eats us." Shark said in a teasing voice, then he thought of something, "Were they part of the pack you were in Star?" He asked as he made his way down the cliff.

[Ranua]

Dante nodded, his hackles raising. I know that all too well... he thought to himself darkly. His gaze drifted out across the valley and his eyes narrowed, Im sorry...Tipona...
When Shark spoke Dante trailed after them, hoping they didn't sense his fear and anger.
