Fawnpaw chuckled, "Hopefully... we must look pretty silly if any other species was watching us."

Dovesoul smiled, "I know every cat dies, but the thought of my sister loosing her last life before I loose my one..." She shook her head, "I'm not worried about who she will choose, just I dont know if she has chosen left, and time is running short. Usually leaders choose before they reach their last few lives, but Froststar's last little didnt make it to be apprentices..." She sighed remembering those kits, she had tried so hard to save her sister's kits, but she just couldnt.

"I know you will miss your sister, but time is a great healer. She'll watch over you from Starclan." Skygaze told her gently. "And do not blame yourself for the kits. It will lead to nothing."

Lilywing rolled her eyes. "Totally. Quick, we'd better get back before dark." she quickened her pace.

Fawnpaw tottered after her...

Dovsoul sighed, "I know... maybe I should ask her if she has chosen which of her kits will become leader?"

Lilywing finally reached the camp and dropped her bundles of moss. She looked back to see the fluffy body of Fawnpaw.

Skygaze nodded. "But act casual. Do not arouse suspicion. She has enough troubles to cope with."

Spottedpaw returned to camp with a rabbit, and three mice. She walked over to the fresh-kill pile and put her kill with the other kill.
