It's about an Oklahoman family during the Dust Bowl of the thirties. They eventually travel to California to find work. This is a really bad description of it, it made t sound horribly boring, but it's actually pretty interesting.

Love that series! I read it 3 years ago of course, [and can't remember the plot] but I remember loving it. C:
I checked out The Search For WondLa, and I LOVE the book so far. It's probably going to end up being a favorite of mine, and i'll pick it up in the future on hardback. Anyone read it?

I've read that too! It's really good, I liked it a lot. The sequel, A Hero for WondLa, is also pretty good. I liked the way he has all the pictures in the book.
@saidai I like Agatha Christie a lot too. I'm glad somebody else likes her, because I was starting to wonder if anybody read her stuff anymore.

I'm not trying to be heartless, and I don't enjoy that kind of stuff. It just seems more... Human of the main character to do. Seriously, all the main characters are just like 'Save ALL the loved ones!'
Lolnope. It makes a sweet storyline, but are there any books out there with an unhappy ending?
I read some books who don't end that happy. I remember one book I read in our school library where almost all the main characters died at the end - but they did managed to make an antidote for an severe illness every human had.
Really? What was it called? I may have to read it sometime...
I know that this is a really late answer, but I couldn't remember the title of the book. Today was the first day our schools library was open again - I was quite shocked when I saw that the door was open again

. Seems like our teacher finally found some parents who have time to be there. The title of the book is "Arcan-Virus" and it's from Andreas D. Hesse - I'm not sure if it got translated in english though.
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

I've got a book by Agatha Christie! It's something about coffee...and I haven't read it yet. Had too much to read, recently. X)
