the unmistakable sound of heavy metal bass vibrated through the tiny, dingy apartment. left over pizza boxes and plastic cups were scattered across the floor, counters and furniture that was placed in random parts of the room. the neglected, peeling wallpaper and lack of necessary appliances made it obvious that the place was owned by a rather untidy minor. there were only a few teenagers in the little flat, two of them making out in a corner and the others were huddled around a small coffee table. on the table was a opened box, it's contents scattered across the platform.

"this is stupid. who plays a board game at a party?" a frail, mousy-haired girl complained. her pale fingers held the instructions to the game, but she seemed uninterested in the folded piece of paper. a larger male with one to many piercings slipped his arm around her waist and proceeded to pluck the directions out of her hand. "don't even pretend you'll be able to read that with all the alcohol in your system, danny," she muttered, promptly taking it away from him. the boy only chuckled and planted a sloppy kiss on her freckled cheek.

"shut up, mary. now, what do we do after we created these little things?" another girl asked, her voice rising slightly. she seemed to have sobered up better than the rest of her friends- which gave her a feeling of authority. a little scrap of cardboard was in between her fingers. on it was a scribbled picture of herself. her name, lydia, was on the bottom on the drawing. each of the teenagers had one, including the face-eating couple who had eventually made their way over to the table; but not without the longing looks, of course.

"the first player roles the dice, moves those spaces and then picks a card," mary read. a look of confusion crossed her face as she skimmed through the instructions. "It-it doesn't really say anything else."

♚ this is just a better explanation of the post above. a group of teens get together at a party, becoming so bored that
they decide to play a board game. most likely, a few of them were past the point of tipsy, and now were completely drunk.
where the game was from or how they got it is still a mystery. no one really paid attention to little details like that, though.
the game is set up like a mansion. each player had to create a little game piece that looked like them. once the dice were
rolled and a card was drawn, the game would begin. of course, nothing is ever that easy. before they know it, the teens
are transported into the game to play it out themselves. they're basically stuck in a haunted mansion where the only way
out is up. each room, or more appropriately, level is designed for each person. whether it's their specific fear or something
everyone is frightened of, that's undetermined until you enter. the players are most likely to be split up, get lost, or worse;
killed. if you die in the game, you won't make it out alive. this isn't a stupid prank, no, something or someone wants these
kids dead. you'll just have to wait for those answers until you reach the last room.
... if you can survive, of course.

the meaning of this fear means that these two people are terrified of the idea of ghosts, hauntings, demons, etc. they can't stand the thought, and in this game they will definitely experience the worst feeling of fear imaginable. they might even consider death to their fear in this game, because we make it unthinkable.

ＨＥＩＧＨＴＳ

yes, of course, this is one of the main fears. heights. technically there is nothing to really explain about this, except that this means that they're scared of anything to do with any normal amount of height. roller coasters, rides, planes, helicopters, etc. except this isn't a little fear. they're absolutely terrified. mostly, if they're up high, all they want to do is fall off and die - literally. not because they don't want to try - it's because their brains seem to just...shut down. not want to even think anymore. think that roller coasters are terrifying? come join the game and you'll really see if it is.

these people can't stand being in crowds or being surrounded. at all. it's like their brains shut down and they seem to not be able to think, and it feels like they can't breath. to tell the truth, it feels like you surrounded by the worst thing imaginable, with plastic bags being taped on your head to be difficult to tell where you are, what you're doing, and even if you're thinking at all. it's more than just a little fear - it's definitely deathly hard to explain.

straight up as it says. these teens are literally terrified of fire. any type. the first spark, or flicker of light resembling fire, they seem to switch into instant 'get away' mode. to be specific, if you brought them to a campfire, they might try to hurt you or bolt. these kids would probably rather freeze to death than be near a fire. the smallest resemblance or glance at a flame sends them off.

the typical 'monster under the bed' statement, correct? any normal monster, to be straight forward. like monsters inc. , or vampires, etc. let's just say that these people hate closets and the underneath of beds, eh? it's pretty easy to guess, but these kids probably have millions of nightmares about any normal monster. it tortures them. let's just say that the game with bring them down. that's what we aim for, don't we?

bugs. yeah, yeah, yeah. not any normal fear like "oh no, there's a spider in here!". no. these kids practically break down, like these tiny little bugs are serial killers. except these teenagers never knew what got them when they were thrown into the games. their worst fear - or nightmares - are definitely becoming a reality.

this is a literate roleplay. i expect at least three or more detailed paragraphs. good spelling and grammar
is also important. i'll be looking through your posts and whatever writing sample you send me. i don't
have a specific word count, but more than 400, at least. if i know you, i won't require a sample
or anything of that sort. if you've been in any of my previous roleplays, you're fine.

✰ character limitations
i really don't want to see any mary-sues or gary-sues. please make sure to follow the personality of
the role you choose. the ones afraid of heights shouldn't love to go bungee jumping. one character is fine, if you have two, they'll have to be the opposite sex.

✰ reserving and posting
to reserve a spot, PM silent or myself. you will not be accepted into the roleplay if you ask on the
thread. if you PM after posting, we still won't accept. please private message one of us the role you want
and a writing sample. feel free to post your form after we accept you. all posts and forms should be decorated
nicely; it's not that difficult. i'll make a form or layout if you really find yourself unable to create one.

✰ form lengths
i'm not going to make you write out one ginormous form. in fact, please don't. personally, i never get
them done. all i'm going to require are the basics and a minimum of two paragraphs covering their
history and personality. i hardly read through huge forms, so you're really making it easier on everyone
if you don't go to extended detail. large forms are the main reason roleplays die, you know.
