Duskshard chuckled, his green-blue eyes flashing slightly. "Of course." He replied, getting to his paws and giving his coat a quick shake. "Anything in particular you want to learn?"

Lillypaw thought quickly, then answered, "I would like to learn how to attack from the front!" She was so excited to learn. Waiting for a mentor was tiring!

Duskshard nodded his silver head, going over quickly the frontal attacks he knew. "Well then, let's go to the training grounds and start." He said, leaning down to give Lilypaw a nudge in the direction of the exit. He could tell Lilypaw was excited, but it would be difficult to have her focus that energy onto training. He started to trot off towards the exit, out into the woods where they would go off to the training grounds, glancing over his shoulder now and then to see if Lilypaw was behind him.

my ears flicker suddenly as i heard newtpaws vosie. i look down to my apprentice and smile, "of course newtpaw" i say, then ear her ask if ashpw could come. i smile again and dip my head. "sure ashpaw can come" i say happily. i smiled at the apprentices, now i couldnt wait to get out there and train! maybe we could do fighting skills? or hunting?

Newtpaw beamed at her mentor, her grin broadening as Moonwhisper said that Ashpaw was allowed to come. "Oh, excellent!" she beamed, her tail swishing behind her. "What are you planning to show us today? Hunting, or combat?" Newtpaw didn't mind training that much, but she had to admit, it was rather boring, especially if Newtpaw was taught the same technique over, and over, and over again. She wasn't much for repitition. After all, if she already knew something, why did they have to go over it again, and again and again? Newtpaw looked over at Ashpaw, grinning, before she turned back to look at her mentor, waiting for an answer.

She blinked her eyes and looked at the tom as he spoke about how he thought her family wasn't dead, otherwise they would visit her from StarClan in her dreams. She nodded slightly, and she flicked her tail as Coalwhisker said that Sunheart was a fine warrior. Then he asked how she was fairing with his loss, and he also said she could talk to him if she needed comfort, and she nodded. "I'm going alright, with his loss, I don't grieve too much because I know it can't bring him back, but I do miss him. And I'll keep that in mind." Smallfrost meowed lightly, her eyes glinting.

Coalwhisker listened, tail twitching on the ground as Smallfrost responded. "Understandable, missing him is only natural," he replied with a small smile. "Pah, what would I know? I don't know the slightest thing about love and loss." Coalwhisker gave a short laugh, looking at Smallfrost and twitched his whiskers. "I will admit though, I am quite impressed with how you coped," Coalwhisker continued, looking down at the ground, watching as a small beetle walked across his paws. "I think you coped better with your mate's passing better than the majority of the queens, and I admire you for that. I'd probably be an absolute mess if I was in your situation."

Sagefrost took a careful, thoughtful bite of the vole, eyes glinting until she came up with an answer. Could she really pass this up? A chance for a walk in the forest? Of course not! If her kits were born soon, it could be her last chance for number of moons. "Yes please, Courgarstrike. Thank you."

Cougarstrike beamed when Sagefrost agreed to go on a walk with him, and he twitched his ears, looking over and seeing Coalwhisker and Smallfrost conversing. Sometimes, Cougarstrike disliked his job, and upon Smallfrost's mate's death, that was one of the times, for he had to check for corpse over. He found it horrible and saddening, but it was his job, unfortunately. Turning back to Sagefrost, the tom nodded. "Well, once you've finished your meal, we can go." he spoke. "Where would you like to go?"

Whistleblade's tail curled ever so slightly as she stifled a laugh and sat down for a moment. "Cool! But, can you do this?" The she-cat quickly stood up, leaping high and latching on to a nearby tree's bark with her claws. The lithe feline then proceeded to scurry up the trunk in an almost squirrel-like fashion, leaping from one branch to another until she was in a different tree. She paused for a fraction of a heartbeat before dropping out of the tree and landing on her paws behind Reedleap with a small thud.

i flicker my ears for a moment as newtpaw asked what we were doing, i look over to the freash kill and nod slightly. "hunting" i say smiply. i look at both apprentice smiling, "and we better get on our way" i say before walking slowly to the entrance of camp, then waiting for ashpaw and newtpaw to coem along. i see ashpaw start to walk, then looking over his shoulder for newtpaw.
