"Yes." Shark said, looking down at Star. He then noticed what she was trying to fight. He leaned in close to Star's ear, "Don't worry, I watch over you." He promised in a very low whisper so Dante wouldn't hear. He had fought over the blackness a few times and it was always eaiser for him just to give in. He knew he was strong enough to wake up after and start running again. But he had never had anyone to make sure he woke up. He looked down at Star, hoping she would understand what he meant and that he would stay with her and make sure nothing happened to her if she just relaxed and slept so she could heal.

Dante nodded, flicking his ears when Shark leaned into whisper into Star's ear. He snorted, heaving her onto his back. "Can you walk Shark?"he asked, groaning slightly, the bear had managed to scathe his shoulder blade, and he was bleeding, though not heavily.

"Yes." Shark said looking up at Dante. He noted his shoulder. "You can head back if you want, I can take Star." He added. "Make sure you show Ana, then she'll have the first aid stuff ready for when I come with Star." He said, looking at both the bears. The one that he had killed was in a heap of brown fur, and he looked the way the other bear had to ran to make sure it was gone. "Oh, make sure you check on the top of the hill too, there was another bear there too." He commented, wanting to make sure all the bears were gone.

"It's okay I can take it." Dante said, "Besides, your the one who needs to rest up." he sighed. "Come on...let's just head back...before more bears come." he growled. Dante may not have noticed it but...for the first time...he had felt a slight flash of respect for Shark, though it probably wouldn't lats long...

Star rolled her eyes."I'm not a dog ." Then gasped. She sighed. Why did I say that!! Then blinked, as the blackness took controle.She heard the two males talking before she blacked out.

Shark knew what Star meant but didn't say anything. "She must be a bit shocked." He commented and nosed Star's chest. Hepushed his head under her and and lifted his head so her body slide slowyl down to his back. Shark sighed, not thinking this would help Ana feel any better at all. He began walking up the hill. Digging his claws into the ice so he wouldn't fall back down the hill and risk going in the lake. His body ached, but he was used to pain, and sometimes almost wished for it because it gave im something to fight agaisnt.

Star suddeny woke.She yelped and slid off his back and accidently kicked him with her hind legs. She shook her head as she got up. Then looked embarresed."Uh, bad dream." She said and yawned. She felt beter, just her head throbed from a blow to the head from one of the bears paws."You ok?" She looked at Shark with a look that meant, ' i know i am a girl, but i am a wolf. i can handle myself'.

"I know." Shark repiled looking at Star. "Wolf also runs through my veins, along with husky." He admitted, "But don't worry, I won't tell anyone, I know you were trying to keep it a secert." Shark added, wanting her to keep the serect that him too was part wolf. He gripped with his claws into the ice to make sure he wouldn't fall and break something. His muscules ached slightly from the intense fighting, but to him it almost seemed like training.

"Good. Then i'll keep yours." Star walked past him and let her tail go under his chin. Then she sniffed around."I'm hungry." She took a few steps forward. Then looked at him."Stay right here. Rest." Then she ran off.

"Star! You should be the one resting!" He called and chased after her. Already he could tell that this was something specail. He felt different around Star. He felt more like himself, more relaxed. He caught up to her and matched her pace easily, even with his muscles still a bit sore.
