Shark flicked his ears. He thought he heard something familiar. Then he heard it again. Bear! He knew it and leaped from under the table and was out like a light. He scented the air, but couldn't scent anything except Star. Star? Then he heard it again, the roar of the bear. He followed Star's scent and sure enough the bear's scent was there too. He raced after the bear. He ran behind the bear and leaped onto its back. He had taken down a couple of bears before, but this one was huge. He growled and lached onto his neck with sharp fangs. He knew it would take a bit, but if he could get down far enough, he could reach a major blood vessel. Shark leaped from the bear's back and landed beisde Star, "Are you ok?" He asked with blood dripping from his muzzle.

Star nodded."I'm great." Then she jumped high over the bear and then turned and jumped up on it's back. It lifted off it's front paws and stood upright. It raored with pain and anger. Blood dripped from his neck. Star grabbed the ear and twisted, then a cracking sound followed.

Shark watched Star carefully, something was silghtly familiar between them in a way... But he pushed the thought away and ran straight for a tree, going to confuse the bear. SHarkfang leaped onto the tree's chrunk and jumped off it with great muscules into a back flip. He landed on the bear's back and dug his muzzle into the bear's neck. With the bear so big he couldn't move as fast as the dogs. Shark narrowed his eyes and bit harder until blood spurted from the bear's neck. He looked at Star, "He's done for!" He called and jumped from the bear's back with blood drenching his coat.

Star nodded and jumped from the bears back as it collapsed. But before it did and swung out it's paws and hit Shark. One of the claws cliped Stars back leg as she jumped and her jumped was cut short. She tried to land on her feet and tripped as she landed and went head first down a slope onto some ice. Two more bears emerged from the trees and roared at Shark, they charged him, driving him down the slope toward the lake, toward Star. Star looked up. She slipped and fell on the ice. A lake! She got up on her paws and glanced at her hind leg. Bleeding, but fine, not broken.

Shark was knocked over when the bear threw one of its gaint paw towards him and Star. He tumbled head over paws as the bears charged him down the ice path. Shark's pelt was now clipped in varouis places and it was matted with blood. He looked at the bears and realized that him and Star were on a lake. Great... Just what the bears problay wanted. These two looked younger than the other one, so he guessed these were the cubs of the mother. Shark snarled, chagellening at the bears, not having enough time to ask Star if she was ok. He lashed his tail, he could feel his blood pumping, and when he licked hte blood from his lips, he could feel the wolf within him come alive. ((He's half husky, half wolf :3)) One of the bears thrahed a gaint paw at Shark and he dogdged, making sure he was still protectively in front of Star. But he didn't know that the bears had a method. Before he knew it, his eye was scarred and blooded poured into his eye and down his face. But instead of yelping due to the pain, his vision blurred and his growled loudly at the bears. He leapt at one of them, bitting and clawing at its eyes. Shark shook the blood from his eyes before jumping to the next bear after hooking the one bear's eye.

"Ya sure." Dante smiled, sitting down beside Dancer. His ears pricked and hr growled hearing the howls of battle not far off. "You hear that?" he asked.

Star howled and flung herself at the other bear witch was charging at Shark. She nocked it sideways. It raored in confusion and noticed Star."Hey sherbert!!! A wolfy and dogy! We have great lunch!" The bear said to the other. The bear growled and swiped huge paws at her. She dodged and grabbed one. It ried to shake her off but she hung on tightly. The bear smiled and bit down on her sides. She had to let go to breath. She air was sucked out of her as the bear closed it's teth tighter on her side. She bit it's nose, but it held on.

Dante rushed forward, heading towards where Star and Shark fought the bear.
With a howl of rage he launched himself at the bear, slashing his long claws across it's chest.
It screeched in pain, dropping Star. Dante landed beside Star, snarling angrily. "You okay?"

Shark growled finishing off the bear he was fightinh with and turned to see Dante tackled the other bear that had Star in it's jaws. The bear looked to its sibeling before running off into the forest. Shark's side heaved, he hadn't fought a fight like that in a long time. Blood drained from his many wounds but he dashed to Star and waited to see if she would reply to Dante.

Star coughed and gasped fot breath then sighed."Sure. At least no broken bones." She tried to saw happily but her lungs and sides throbed."At least we protected the rest of the team. She coughed again. Her nose twiched. Blackness tried to cover her, but she fought it.
