Yeah as was said there are canines smilar to felines and vise versa. An exampls being that Pariah dogs like the Basenji and Cannan Dog are the domestic canine forms most similar to felines.
But as a few others and I said earlier, settling isn't something that has to happen at a certain age. Also it may very well be that your personality has indeed settled but you haven't looked deeply enough to figure it all out yet.
What I mean is that it takes a lot of time to tease out your true personality, and half the time you discover things here and there that you totally had no idea about before, just through one little experience.
I mean, it only just clicked for me that I freeze up under pressure, it's something I have done a great many times in my life, I just never fully realized it until I froze up when somone I didn't know asked me a question.

Oh yeah, *facepalm* I was thinking that because it was closer related to a fox than a wolf. XD

^ Ah, but it isn't! :O I can see how you'd think it was, since it's roughly colored like a red fox, but it's tribe Canini (true dogs) rather than tribe Vulpini (true foxes), so it is, in terms of taxonomy at least, slightly more closely related to wolves than foxes.

In daemon-related news, I'm looking into cows! Cows cows cows. I'd much rather be a cow than a giraffe because of ease of projection (even newborn giraffes are a foot and change taller than me) and the ridiculous cuteness level of cows over giraffes, so I'm trying to be cautious about it, but yeah, I'm excited for them to even be an option. There was a lot in the general domestic cow analysis that resonated with me in ways other analyses haven't for a LONG time, and I know analyses aren't the be-all end-all, but I see people a lot going "wow, yeah, that analysis sounds JUST like me!" and I feel kind of left out having not had that experience. Of course, there were parts that didn't resonate much, but I don't know if those can be resolved by selecting particular breeds of cow (because let's be real sighthounds aren't exactly what you would be describing in a general dog analysis) and the fact that I would probably be looking into female cows over bulls. Fingers crossed.

Buuuuut I was also thinking that overall, cows don't really seem like a desirable form? I mean, I really want to be a cow, but that doesn't mean many people outside of TDF would want to be cows; the Internet doesn't exactly have a cow fanclub going. Most people seem to think they (along with sheep, another favorite of mine haha) are kind of boring. So I pose you this question: what is the least desirable form you have either looked into or project your daemon as? If neither of those include animals you would categorize as generally (not to you, but to other people) undesirable, I guess... what's your most obscure form? C:

I would have to say it's the blue whale or humpback whale.
In all honesty, I was just messing around when I was at the lake, but it didn't really...seem good like the others we've done.
I mean, heck, the Okapi was a pretty cool form. So was a dolphin or shark.

Personally, the answer to your question would be a Japanese beetle. Today, I came close to projecting him as a giraffe just because I could, but overall decided on my school's mascot. School pride! ;D
