Thank you thank you thank you for putting something like this together. It'll be such a huge help for the whole of CS, at least until we get a full reviewed official rule index. I've seen so much confusion and misunderstandings cause sometimes it's just hard to know exactly what is and isn't okay. Hopefully this will clear up some problems in the mean time till the official one is complete :)

Although I'm afraid there are a few 'ghost' rules floating around I'm trying to figure out how to find them and get approval so I can put them with the rest of the rules.

One I think I have seen- although you may want to check on this to be 100%- is the rules surrounding homework help threads/tutoring. I've seen many a thread locked by mods and the like because they don't want people to merely hand off their homework to someone else, not learn and still get the credit for it. But then I saw a topic asking if it was okay or not, and Tess said that yes, it is okay to have a homework help topic to ask questions and get explanations from others. I can see if I can find the thread for you, and if not maybe it'd be best for someone to send in a help ticket?

I wonder if this rule should have a bullet all for itself somewhere? It's under the general site rules, but a lot of people seem to miss it, and I thought it was a ghost rule myself until I saw this post just a couple of days ago ^^;

How about the signature rules?
Too many gifs. Or gifs that are large enough to impact server performance may be removed.

Don't link to sites that are inappropriate, shares personal info or badmouths other CS members.

Anything that can be considered a health hazard like rapidly flashing gifs.

I've added the last two as 'helpful threads/answers' under the General category. I didn't add the first since it's talking about large GIFs (and how they can't remove all images that are 'GIFs'), however, it's not really saying anything about GIFs being removed, unfortunately. I'll try and find something about that, though, and see if I can get a clearer result.
