Sighing, Greyjoy greeted Iris, gently touching his nose to hers by way of greeting. It had been a long day and they were lucky that no-one had been killed.
The apprentices had made a mistake by attacking the bear but he hoped they wouldn't be too hard on them. Apprentices made mistakes, unless they didn't remember their own apprentice years. As long as they were reprimanded in a way that taught them, not in a way that was meant to hurt them.
That was not for Greyjoy to say, though, so he simply padded off to his usual sleeping spot and allowed himself to ungracefully sit and roll to his side so he was lying down in the midst of a puff of snow that swirled around him. Using his tail to cover his nose, he rested, thinking. There was something today for all of them to learn.
Redwyn knew Storm was outside but she didn't look up until she heard them entering the camp. Heart pounding, she counted each one of them. Blaze... Greyjoy... Stone. All of them were there. The relief was short-lived, though, as apprehension and fear stuck in her throat like a mouse she had swallowed the wrong way. Glancing over at Storm, Redwyn's eyes softened slightly. She supposed it wasn't his fault, really. He had wanted to be recognized and to be a part of the pack just like she had. And no-one would be hurt. If they were going to be punished, they had to stick together. Silently leaving her den, Redwyn crept out until she was by Storm and blinked at him slowly, reassuringly, before sitting up tall, puffing her chest out, and delicately covering her front paws with her tail. She would receive her punishment like a warrior. And learn from it. Silently, she held her vigil, and waited.
