Faith glanced back at the hole, worry and emotion in her eyes. She shot a grateful glance to Chaos and settled down near the pup again. She glanced over her shoulder one more time at the hole, her strong feelings showing plain as day in the blue depths of her eyes. She smirked to herself and rested her head on the floor, taking Chaos's word and knowing that Thorn would be okay. I never really doubted Thorn... she thought as she watched the pup.

Ashi whined softly and slowly managed to sit up, shaking in pain and fear. She suddenly stood up and burst out of the hole in the hideout, running on just three legs, one of them had been broken. She skidded to a stop in front of Thorn and growled at Crimson, not noticing that blood was dripping from her mouth. "L-Leave him alone!" She growled, raising her hackles at the evil wolf. She was struggling not to fall over in front of Thorn, she wanted to prove she wouldn't always be a weak little puppy...

Rocky twitched his ears and saw the tiny pup run out of the den. "Hey, come back it's not safe out there!" he barked after her and he raced outside to find the pup. He stopped when he saw Crimson with Thorn and he let out a low growl.

Ember opened one eyes. She was confused.I am the healer. Why didn't they ask me for help? she thought.

Thor ran to help Thorn with a snarl. The huge black and white Great Dane was a sight to behold when he was this angry. He lashed his thin tall as he stood by Thorn.

Kiki watched with warm root beer brown eyes from the back of the den. She was one of the smaller dogs in the pack, but she was determined to prove her worth.

Thorn growled to the pup "Get back" he growled, he didn't want Ashi getting hurt.

He slammed himself at the wolf, who was not very visible as they were fighting in the shadows. The stranger raised a paw his claws out, gleming in the moon light like sharpened knife blades, they slit across Thorns muzzle. Thorn slammed Crimson into the wall before biting him mercilessly on the shoulder.

Crimson pounced away from Thorn, deeper into the shadows, only a pair of crimson red eyes were visible "I'll be back" came a menicing, husky voice. And with that, he dissappeared misteriously into the dark, shadowy night.

Chaos couldn't hear much, but he knew that with re-enforcements that Crimson would run off, and probably return later with some help. Chaos knew the group were good fighters, but he was still slightly worried, Crimson had been known to take on packs single pawed, and kill every single last member.

Ashi whined and looked at Thorn, frightened again. She turned to run away, but she only got a few centimetres before her lecks buckled beneath her and she went unconscious again...

Thorn had blood seeping slowly from his wound on his muzzle, he looked to the pup with a soft frown, he gentley picked Ashi up by the scruff and trotted back towards the den.

Rocky padded after Thorn and the pup, he wanted the black pup to be alright. He would hate loosing a dog a so young, eventhough he had never actually met her. He whined sadly and lay down beside the pup, his head resting on his paws.

Thor looked around and decided things were under control. "Ember! We need you out here!" he bayed with his loud booming bark.

The ash gray poodle ran out, long fluffy fur flying everywhere. "Yes?" She caught sight of Ashi. "Everyone, back up! You're scaring him." Ember commanded. If there was a member hurt, she took charge as fast as she could. She walked slowly up to the pup and stopped about a yard away. "I won't hurt you. I'm a healer," she said in a soft, velvet tone.

Kiki stuck her head out. Her unsatisfiable curiosity nearly always got the better of her. She was young, but every now and again considered herself a motherly person, so her heart melted at the sight of the poor pup. She obeyed Ember and stayed a good five feet away. She managed to clean herself up, so she was a nice snowy white.
