an extra long one to make up for the delay!

I stand in line, deciding what to order. All of the meal options look atrocious, but then again, I don't choose the menu. I decide on the "2.50 mashed potato meal with soda!" And revive my tray. I scoot along the line until I reach the cash register and the price is confirmed. I reach for my pocket, but all of my money is gone. I shake my head and sigh. "I'm sorry," I say to the register lady, "but your going to have to take this back. I think someone stole my money." I say pushing my tray towards her. "We cannot sell again!" The lady says angrily in her thick Hispanic accent. "Well I don't have the money" I say helpless. She gives me a small smile and pushes the tray towards me. "For free." She says quietly and I smile back at her. "Thanks" I say and try to find a table. One of Megan's minions walks up to me. "Exactly what do you think you're doing?!" She squeals at me. I'm pretty sure that its Tracy. "I was actually thinking about eating-" "No not that!" She screeches, and points at the tray.
"Stealing..." She nags at me in her high-pitched voice. I look at her, anger rising through me. "I didn't steal it. The lady let me have it because one of
you, Tracy, stole it from me. I had twenty bucks in there and I want it back." She steps back, looking offended. "It's - it's Jessie!" She's she screams and runs off, mascara streaked face and all. I sigh and sit down at the nearest empty table. I wonder how Leslie is doing, I don't even know where she is. "Hey babe" a sickening voice behind me scorns. "Hi Megs." I say without looking around. She walks around my table in that way that looks like she is trying just too hard. She glides into the seat across from me and laces her fingers together. "We need to talk." She says in that silken smooth voice I have learned to guard myself against. "To be quite frank you have made a lot of people angry today." She says in the tone she talks to misbehaving toddlers in. "Megs, I'm not a -" She cuts me off. "Uh-uh! I'm talking here. First me, when you were flirting with Leslie, that was quite upsetting to me, as you are currently in a relationship. Or have you forgotten so soon?" She has now shifted to the "therapist" accent. "I wasn't flir-" "Im talking!" "So am I!" "I am talking no-" "Shut up!" She snaps her mouth shut. "I think we're done here, as it isn't benefitting either of us." I say. "It's been
interesting being with you, but I think I'm done." Unlike I had imagined, her face broke out into a grin. I hear the dreaded
clop clop clop of the principals high heeled shoes in the silence that she had made upon entering the room. "Mister Ruggen, what is the meaning of this behavior?" She says in her ice cold voice. I look around at her, a questioning look on my face. "I'm sorry mam, I don't know what you're talking ab-" "Don't play innocent with me young man you have had failing grades since the beginning of the school year and now thievery? Come and talk to me in my office right away!" She said harshly, and walked briskly off.
