Braxel flinched as she trotted past her Alpha and tuned in to her conversation. "Pups? Not to disrespect you, but are pups the best idea? They'll be more susceptible to the Gray than we are. Besides that, there aren't any mates in the pack." She said, turning to face Aimee, the wind buffeting her fur. "I mean, we can barely feed ourselves, what are we gonna do with pups?" the warrior herself had been a mother. 'No you are a mother.' She reminded herself. Yane had gone to live with Brax's older brother's pack in the east. They were large and could afford another mouth to feed. Her pack, however, could not.

Argos awoke from under their great pine and slipped quickly out before his mentor had noticed. He had to get some prey. With them being from here they were quick to catch any prey that they may have found. He was a great hunter and that was one thing Vestra liked about him. The small brute sat down, waiting for the fae to wake up and come hunt larger game with him. He flicked his ears back at the sound of the larger fae moving through the pine branches. She walked up next to him, grazing his fur with hers and the small brute stood and the two began to walk to where the elk was plentiful. There ought to be some babies at this time and they will be able to catch them a large meal.
[OHMAIGERD! They could be the only ones who know where the easy and big game is, and the pack has become allies with them or something like that!!! :D]

The alpha sighed and turned to Braxel, shaking her head. "I don't mean now. But when spring comes there will be a boom of prey like when we first arrived. We can afford pups then, who will be old enough to hunt by the time fall comes around. Maybe we won't have mates or
Any fae's expecting by this spring, but in two year's time we ought to. We are going to lose some wolves this winter due to old age if not anything else. We are a small pack and can't afford not to make up for those we lose. There aren't enough friendly loners to build a large and strong pack." Aimée turned back to facing the forest, taking in the sights and smells. "We need more members. More hunters. More generations." The alpha sat quietly, remembering her son Atticus. She often wondered if he had escaped The Gray with his father and new step-mom. "True, they're more vulnerable, but so are the elders."
[[That's what I thought your plan was when you first said they were native loners xD yes!]]

((I'll just come in randomly if thats alright ^_^))
Lily
4 years|Fae|Single
Lily walked into the camp glancing around at the different wolves. She didn't really know what to right now and she didn't see Aimee around. Lily sighed and walked into her den. She curled up and tried to sleep even though she knew it was usless to even try.
Raven
3 years|Brute|Single
Raven was outside of the camp walking around aimlessly. He looked back at the direction of the camp but didn't go towards it. Instead he went almost the exact opposite way. There were way to many people there and he hated large crowds.
Signature WIP! Let me just throw in a
new random GIFs!

….maybe I should stick to the other one

The two Alaskan wolves traveled through the forest. The trees began to fade out after a few miles and wide open plains began to show. A gusty breeze carried in this field and the elk mooed[or whatever they do.] to each other. Steam clouds fading from their mouth and showing their location. This herd had five bulls, all with large racks, and ten does, six of which had babies. The herd was a small herd, but it was the closest to the two loners forest. Most of the babies were all big and not so small, so some of them could have potential at fighting back. Argos was smart enough to know to head for the baby doe's and single them out. It was hard to kill big game like this without at least three other wolves with them. Vestra sniffed the air, and began at a light pace around the herd. Argos followed behind trying to find the one elk that was perfect. The small brute knew of the gray and was smart enough to sniff the herd before hunting. These elk sometimes carried diseases and luckily no of them had anything major.
Argos spotted a small young doe. He had seen her last year, but he didn't kill her, she was too small last fall. His tail began to wag swiftly as his pace quickened to a run. Vestra slowed till she was following the small brute and they both singled the doe out of the herd. Hooves began to beat on the earth as they ran from the two on-coming wolves. Vestra ran to the left and Argos to right, so the doe couldn't escape with the running herd. The doe put her head down and looked at the wolf in front of her, Vestra. The two loners began to bark at the doe and run around her, confusing the small beast. Argos was happy to hunt and loved playing with his meal. So did Vestra, it got them both going and happy. He leaped in and out at the elk and growl and snap to test the elk's defense's.
Quickly the two loners had started to tire the doe and got closer to the brown hoofed creature. Vestra normally let Argos take it from here, because well he was a better hunter than her. He went to the side of the doe and Vestra went to the other side. The elk began to trot when it saw there was nothing in it's way. A pond was just ahead and the two loners were sure they would drag it into the water. They ran along the doe keeping up a good pace. Their tongues lolling out of their jaws and steam rolling out of their throats. They moved quickly keeping in their positions and water began to splash around them as they leaped up at the doe's neck grabbing a hold of her skin and loosing their grip.
The two wolves were now getting their guard fur wet and Vestra was dripping. Argos leaped for the neck again and dangled in the air shaking his body left to right trying to get the doe to fall down. The elk felt the weight of the small wet brute on her neck and lowered her head to the ground and was stomping everywhere trying to get him off. The doe ran further into the water and was soon being weighed down by the water. The two loners went ashore and shook out their pelts. They watched the frantic doe splash around water. Argos knew they would have to wait her out.
The doe had stopped moving and was standing still in the cold water. She was loosing her warmth, and would soon go into hypothermia if she didn't come out. The two loners had moved to the other side of the pond and watched her move towards the muddy bank where the wolves were not at. When she was out of the water the wolves came up on her and she knew it was over for her. Either she would die of hypothermia or would die of the wolves. Argos leaped at her neck and shook his body, the elk slowly caving in and falling to the earth. The elk was still alive, but was giving up the fight and Vestra went in to kill it fully. She shook her head once she bit down on the neck and the doe had died.
Argos and Vestra celebrated their kill with some play and bounded around each other yapping and wagging their tails. They romped around for a few and realized they still had a meal to eat on. The two wolves raced each other to the dead elk and started ripping into the flesh, spitting out the coat of the doe. Their maws were soon covered in blood and the doe was just ripped into. A hole was created into her side an the wolves were soon full. Crows and other scavengers were starting to cluster around the kill and wait for the two predators to finish and leave. Argos chased after a few crows and began to run through the field back to their forest.
Vestra walked along side of Argos as they were traveling through the forest towards home. They were happy and hoped that the pack wolves never found the herd of elk or anything they knew of. "That was fun!" Argos said with a wag of his tail. He loved hunting and running around with Vestra. He yawned and watched as his mentor yawned with him. "Are you going to go take a nap?" He asked softly as he could smell their great pine tree coming up.
Vestra nodded. "Yes. You can watch for any pack wolves or go wandering around." She said stopping to shake out her still damp fur. Slowly she continued walking and saw the clearing that they called home. "Don't wake me up." She said with a light growl and parted towards the tree where she crawled under the pine branches and curled up on their bed of pine needles.
Argos parted the other way towards his favorite place, the fallen tree and boulder. He often chased squirrels and small rodents by this place. The rock used to be a home to foxes, but they fled when the two loners arrived and called this place home. The small silver brute walked under the fallen tree and sniffed where the pack wolves had been standing. They smelled in need of help, none of them had the gray and he was happy about that. Slowly the brute sat down and looked off into the forest.

The alpha smiled at Nikki, her eyes soft as she nodded her head. "Perhaps. I don't want to force anything, but maybe some more pack time would improve all relationships between the wolves. We could all stand to be more social with each other anyways. Thank you Nikki, I will start something of the like." It was true, the wolves in the pack knew each other, but the days were often quiet with little interaction or bonding. Bonding made a pack happier, stronger. The sun was at its peak, and would soon start going back down. Aimée's stomach rumbled but she tried to ignore it. Not enough prey had been killed to feed the pack tonight. With loners so close and possibly dangerous, everyone needed to be full with plenty of energy.
"Nikki, will you take Braxel, Lily, and maybe some other hunters south to hunt? We don't have enough to fill everyone's bellies tonight and I don't want anyone going hungry. Since we have no healer I will go north to find some general herbs incase the weather causes anyone to get sick. Maybe I can find a hare or two as well." Aimée stood, announcing to the rest of the camp that she wanted a hunting party to travel south, some warriors to stay in camp, and that she was heading to look for herbs. "Rohan is of course in charge until I get back." She finished loudly, and started heading north. She knew of a patch of poppy and aloe that should still be good at the northern edge of the territory. It was a long walk, but at last she found the patch, and gently started collecting poppy.

Argos flicked his ears back at the sound of rustling off in the distance. It was near the pack wolves border. He stood up cocking his head to the side and sniffing the cool air. It was the same scent of the fae that was here earlier. Slowly he began walk towards the noise keeping his paw steps light and his body on guard. He slowed down when he could smell poppy seeds from where he stood. Her scent was strong unlike his which was weak. He perked up his ears and sniffed the air once again. Trying to see if she was alone or not.

Despite the poppy that flooded her nostrils, Aimée was able to smell a wolf approach. The smell was familiar, though it wasn't one of her wolves. A normal wolf would be on guard, but not her. No, the fae stayed relaxed, as she was inexperienced to danger. She raised her head, her pale eyes searching the area before settling on where the wolf was. She did this using her sense of smell, and was able to determine that it was a brute and he was alone. Seemingly oblivious to the danger the alpha laid down the poppy seeds and turned her body to face him. Any other alpha would be on guard, demanding names and reasons. Instead, Aimée let out a soft question, almost playful. "Don't you know it's not polite to spy on a fae without first telling her your name?" The alpha spoke sweetly and quietly, though she knew he could hear her. Her blind eyes lay fixed on where she was sure he was.
