If not for Sammeh, Fro Fro (Why do I keep calling him that?) would not have even survived a DAY in mordor. Sammeh Carried him.

Actually, Sam did carry the ring for a little while. He showed just as much resistance to the ring as Frodo did, if not more. When Frodo was paralyzed by Shelob's venom, and then taken away and stripped by orcs, Sam comes to save him. Once saved, Frodo believes the orcs have taken the ring from him, but Sam reveals that he had the ring all along. He gave it back to Frodo without any second thoughts, like it was nothing. Showing extreme bravery on Sam's part for having come to save Frodo from orcs, even after Frodo had abandoned him, and extreme resistance to the ring. XD

I watched The Fellowship of the Ring with my friend last night, and that was the first time I was ever able to fully appreciate Boromir's relationship with Merry and Pippin. There were little things I saw, like how Boromir chose Merry and Pippin over the other hobbits when they were in the Mines of Moria jumping over the gap on the crumbling bridge, and how when they were in the boats Boromir was with Merry and Pippin.
I guess when you pay attention to the little things like that, it made Boromir's death a little more sad for me. :')

This happens to me every time I watch the movies. I always notice new little details that I hadn't picked up on before. I haven't really noticed this yet, but I'll look out for it the next time I watch it. Although I did notice the more obvious "bondage", if that's the right term, when Boromir is teaching Merry and Pippin how to fight with swords. ^^

On the extended edition Boromir is shown play fighting with Merry and Pippin after battle training. He was laughing and smiling.

I had a dream I had to kill Frodo to return the ring to Will Turner.
Than another dream that I met Sam in the woods and had to send a message to Frodo for him. It's more complicated but I don't feel like typing it all. I did meet up with a very sad Frodo though... and Gandalf, who had invented the light bulb.

False. Sam was, in Book 1 Volume 3 [the beginning of RotK] brave enough to take on the ring when Frodo was paralyzed due to the venom of Ungoliant's spawn. He did carry the ring at this point and if he didn't, the orcs would've gotten it and Middle-Earth would fall into ruin. He also generously offered to carry the ring many times in the story, it was just Frodo that wouldn't let him.

Plus, they call Sam 'Samwise the Brave' and Frodo 'Frodo the Nine- Fingered'. I'd much rather be brave than have my finger bitten off, though I am not denying that Frodo was too a hero. Both Frodo and Sam showed heroic qualities during the trilogy.

Lastly, how can you call Frodo the hero when J. R. R. Tolkien intended Sam to be the hero? I personally don't believe it makes sense to disagree with the author.

Oh, my. The discussion has come so far when I was typing up this post. Self-fail.
