Crystal smiled at the princess but felt pity for her. She took Arabella's hands and gave her a small hug "I'm just sorry it couldn't be you Princess Arabella" she said "But thank you. Crystal looked at thepprincess again "Shall we get some punch?" she asked happily, she did afterall, get kissed.

Nick sighed and looked down at the gardens once more. I might as well go down for a walk, there's nothing that would probably interest me up here. Dancing with Serena was quite nice, but now that she has gone somewhere, there really isn't anything else for me to do. I won't be able to recognise my other siblings... Nick frowned as he thought about the others. He was especially worried about Aiden, no one he had spoken to was sure if he had come to the Harvest Dance - he had travelled with Tristan, Serena came here herself and he hadn't spoken to the others. Nick shook his head, there was no need to be worried, Aiden was old enough to take care of himself. He glanced back towards the ballroom, everyone seemed to have a merry time, everyone except him. He placed his glass cup onto the balcony's ledge and then walked towards the stairs that descended into the garden. He walked onto the garden's path and pulled off his mask, holding the string attached and swinging the mask around and around. Nick smiled, it was great to be free of the restrictions the mask gave, it was quite hard to see properly with it on, it blocked his peripheral vision. He took a deep breath, the air was much more refreshing here than in the ballroom. He continued walking deeper into the garden and then suddenly he heard some voices, he went closer and then then thought he could hear... Was that Arabella's voice? He quickly put his mask back on and walked towards the voices, he saw two ladies hugging each other. One certainly looked like Arabella's from this angle, he thought and then stepped out from the shadows. Nick cleared his throat and said, "Uhh, sorry, would I be interrupting something?"

"Let's," she smiled. "But Crystal, don't feel bad for me in this regard. That's one thing I must ask of you." She began to move over to where the drinks were. "Boys have always been more interested in my sisters and the other girls around me," she said reaching for a glass. "After all, who likes, let alone loves, a grumpy, malcontent tomboyish princess like myself?" She shook her head and laughed. "No, I have accepted my fate," she smiled.

Crystal smiled brightly and saw Nick "Oh i'm not sure Princess" she said turning her towards Nick. She giggled under her breath and watched , the princess might find intrest in the gentlman but if not she tried. She entwined her hands and blew at the hair in her face again agrily.

Serena looked down at their hands before she looked at KC. Forgive him? That sure was what she wanted. She missed him and there was a big chance he might leave again when she forgave him. She didn't want that. She wanted to be with him, but of course she couldn't. She sighed softly. "I would love to forgive you, KC." she said softly. "But if you are going to disappear again like the last time, I can't. My heart is still shattered in tiny pieces, and when the only glue you have is time, it will take very long before it is complete again." Serena pulled her hands out of his, but only to cup his into hers. A single tear rolled down her cheek."I just thought we would spend the time we had left together. Of course that would be impossible..." She paused. "But I need you, KC."

KC tentatively reached up and brushed away the tear that streamed down her face, keeping his hand on her cheek. "Serena, I wouldn't ever do this to you again, please believe me. But it's so hard for me to be in the same room with you." he said, his eyes pleading. "I need you too, Serena, but we can't do this. Maybe.. maybe we can try to just be friends? But that's not what we want." He looked away, the pain clear in his eyes. They wanted each other. These marriages will ruin everything. Serena wouldn't be happy, KC would be more than unhappy.

Serena sighed, looking at him as she felt his warm hand on her cheek. "I just wished I could marry you instead of Zerrick." she admitted quietly. "Can't we just try and maybe our parents will have a second thought about the marriage between me and Zerrick. I mean, nobody really knew we were together.". The girl fiddled nervously with her hands, trying to find a solution. "After all, I don't see the problem if I would marry you instead of Zerrick. It will still connect our kingdoms..."Serena bit her lip and told herself to focus. Of course that wasn't going to happen. "I'm sorry. That was a stupid idea." she added softly. The girl just wanted to find a solution for all of this.

No, we can- we can try." he said, still not meeting her eyes. It wouldn't work, but they could get an audience with the kings and ask, put the idea in their heads. He stood slowly, keeping their hands linked, and pulled her up with him. "May I?" he asked, a small smile curving the corners of his lips. He placed his hand on her waist, and started dancing to the faint music they could hear from the palace.

{ And.. I'm not sure whether Shade. is going to come back or not, so.. Not sure if this conversation changes anything in the plot. Shade. received my message, but didn't reply back.
